12/7/20 Week 1 planted. 6.4 PH adjusted water. Fox farm happy frog soil, Mycorrhizal fungi, 72F Amnesia Gold (AG), Tutankhamen (TK), Gorilla Girl (GG).
12/11/20 All three germinated. Space heater set to 75f
12/12/20 Set temp to 70F. Turned light on Veg. Temp steady at 73F. Misting soil to keep top layer moist.
I have been misting 1x/day keeping soil slightly moist. Temp approx 75F and humidity about 60%. Have been running lights 24hrs/day. I now have a time and thinking of reducing light schedule to 18hrs. Feel free to comment!!
Added Espoma Garden Tone to top soil. About 1 tsp / plant. Reduced light schedule to 20hrs. Added extraction fan, humidifier set to 55%, and heater set at 75F. Have been watering 1X/day as topsoil dries out. Plants seem happy and growing well. Considering lowering light from 30” to 24” as well as adding molasses to water.
It turns out my PH pen was far out of calibration even after calibrating it. I was watering this whole time at about 7.7ph. I adjusted it to 6.8. I lowered my light a bit and on day 19 I added 1/2 strength dry amendments. The amnesia gold has been showing signs of some deficiency. I think it’s CalMag. I think the dry amendments have improved this (they contain Ca and Mg) but it has only been a couple days. I will pick up calmag soon. Also I have been watering small amounts daily. I am going to change to larger waterings about 2x/wk.
AG, GG showing signs of flowering. TK not showing signs. Amended soil with approx 1.5 cups of castings in each pot. .5tsp fertilizer and 1tsp flowering fertilizer. LST all plants. Put on flowering light. Lowered light.
