The girls are looking pretty good after my first week growing. I'm playing with the light dimmer trying to find a sweet spot. I think my light is kinda strong for veg so I have the light about 30" away and I'm running them dimmed about half way now. It's hard to figure out how much I'm actually dimming the light tho. My dimmer is just a knob with no gauge of any kind. I've been playing it by eye and it seems like the temp is a good way to gauge how bright my light is. I turned the dimmer all the way down (light is still on about 25ish% maybe) and the temp drops below 68f within an hour or so. If I turn the light up to what I'm estimating is 90% the temp raises to above 82f within an hour or so. I've been trying to keep the temp around 72-75f, while keeping RH @50-60%. My humidity was dropping to 45-50% overnight, but I added a bunch of water to the 20 gallon pots I keep in my tent 2 days ago and ever since the humidity has been very steady. Basically if I turn the humidifier up, RH goes up quick. And, vise versa. The first few days I needed to keep wet towels and water bowls in the tent just to keep RH above 50% for a few hours. I would hit my tent walls with a mist from my spray bottle a couple times a day too. This would get RH to 60-65% for an hour or so. In my head this simulates morning dew or something like that (even if I'm still at 24hr light lol). Earlier this week I supercropped the big girl at the base. With only 2 plants I. Guessing my main issue will be height in the end. I want to get both plants nice and bushy, which will take some time. And, longer veg = taller plant usually I think. Ideally I have 3-3.5' max for plant growth. I would like to go into flowering as short as possible, so I'm going to try to keep both plants about 3" from the soil as long as possible. I'll keep adding and removing ties and clips to keep her trained as much as I can. Today was my big day for LST and supercropping. The smaller plant is growing fairly straight and uniform so all I did was give her main stem some bending at the base, just after the 1st node. She was sturdy, but thin so it was pretty easy to pinch and bend. She even gave a nice snap sound (the outer stem was not damaged tho). After this, all I had to do was tie a few stems 1 way and a few to the opposite. The big girl got a bit more work done. Since she is like 2-2.5x bigger than the other plant, I really had to bend her in order to keep the canopy top even. The nodes on the bigger plant are growing at uneven levels too. This makes it kinda weird when I was thinking about how to spread her bud outs. So for the big girl I cropped 4 different spots on the main stalk. 1 was done earlier in the week (like i mentioned before) and 3 were done today. Below the first node i was able to bend and twist a little. Right above the first node I bent her 90 degrees. Then did the same 2 more times going up. I'm trying to get her to grow in a circle. Not sure if that's a good idea but fuck it, itll look pretty if it works. You can see some of the bends in the pics. After supercropping, the big girl got a bit of LST too. I tried my best to pull stems evenly to both sides of the main stalk. Like it said, shes growing non-uniformly and it's just kinda weird to a first timer I think. It's interesting how both plants are cloned from the same mother but the smaller plant is growing in almost a perfectly uniform fashion, while the other has stems growing out from all 4 sides of the main stem (nodes are uneven too). Also, I put some cocoa shell mulch on top of both pots earlier this week. I gave both a good watering and have just been misting the mulch a couple times a day the past 2 days. The soil was still moist today but I might need to add some water tomorrow or the next day. I'm hoping to build a compost tea system soon. I'll be adding that once a week asap. I think we still have a couple weeks left in veg so I'll think about transplanting into my 20 gallon pots in 2-3 weeks. Until then I'm top dressing with 1 scoop Mykos 1x per week and watering heavily afterwards. Ever day or 2 I add more water too. Really whenever I have extra dechlorinted laying around I throw it in the 20 gallon pots. I plan to top dress with some lobster compost and fish bone meal about a week before I transplant. Idk if this is a good idea, but it makes sense in my head since they're slow release nutrients. This will allow the soil some time to do its thing. So, there we have it. We survived week 1!

@GuerrillaNo_4, yeah I was given some oversized clones so I pretty much started training s couple days after I got them home and transplanted them. I figured if I was gonna mess up and break/kill branches I better learn early on so they have time to recover lol. I wasnt sure how well they would respond but it's nice to hear that it should help in the long run.
