Found these seeds helping my boss trim his outdoor plants. He had clones and unsure of the 3 diff strains. All we know is there something to do with kush.
Anyways I decided to start up a few and hopefully be successful with at least 1 lady to fill my 2x2 tent.
I think I will try main-lining with the 1 lady. Never had the guts to try it on 4 plants so this is the perfect opportunity.
I am currently using a No name blurple light I had lying around. Going to build a bridgelux led custom light for it soon. Just need to order a driver and a few strips
EC is at 0.4 this week. Don't remember the numbers for amount of nutes used
Doing good at the end of week 2 for the bigger one. They're all around a week apart more or less. Still have to find a home for the small one.
EC 700 just added more floraflex For that. The bigger one is growing it's fifth node. Guna wait til the 6th and top her down to the 3rd node. Counting from the bottom up
Growing nicely. I can never seem to get any organic or brown coloured not clear additive to sit well in the rez. But ph is mainly stable so that's all that matters for me. I'm going with the main-lining technique for this run. Never done it but looks cool and interesting. Topped when plant reached it's 6th set of nodes. Topped her above node 3 and stripped the lowers off aswell. Feeding at about 1000EC
Built another led light with 3 strips of the Bridgelux Vesta™️ Tunable Linear Gen 3 which are designed with 2 diff diodes. 2750k and 5000k. Should be interesting.
From the looks of it. I am in early stages of root rot. Plant is not growing as fast as it was at all. It can be a few things. Light penetration into the bucket. My water temps are around 70f. So I think that's okay. I had some extra mylar from a grow I did years ago. Cut pieces to go over the kids hopefully that helps.
I took out all additives besides CalMag. They were fouling the rez as usual. Dropping the Ph as usual. I think it's also the cause of the root rot. I have sprayed soaked with h202 and have added it to the reservoir after a cleaning and a water change. Looks a bit better.
I'm located in Canada and I cannot find hydroguard anywhere. Which kinda sucks. Any alternatives would be great. Thanks
Well I almost lost her to the root root. Thought I got rid of it and then I got some clear snotty shit. I saw that and I cut the roots. I tried peroxide, bleach, hygrozyme, Daily Rez changes. The last few weeks were a real rollercoaster ride that's for sure
Been missing weeks but there's not much to say. I was waiting for the roots to come back and start seeing some growth on the plant. Looks like we're on a right path now
I have 16 tops plus I kept another 8 branches to fill in the middle of the plant. Might be too much well see what happens.
All well here. Roots are kinda turning brown again. My water temps are at 75f. I know a bit on the high side. Was looking into ewc teas but I'm just too lazy to make it. Might just have to pay these jerks on Amazon with their outrageous price for hydroguard
Well i got lazy to keep up week by week. But here she is. Made a sweet rebound back from root rot. I still think she's a female. Cutting leaves off makes my hands sticky a bit. Smells strong already in veg. Hydroguard works miracles no more root rot and ph fluctuations. I am able to have power si in there now too. Going to flip within the next few days to flower
@Salgeezi, Silica blast is the same as your power si nutrient both are silica products. It will help but not as much as hydroguard or both together. Happy growing matey 👍😀
@iLoveGoodWeed, okay good. I'll try to keep it below that. Does the silica blast replace hydroguard? I would assume not. I'm using power si aswell if that matters?
@Salgeezi, 60s is not bad as long as it is under 70f . The hydroguard is a great product I have read about it with positive results and another good product is Silica Blast. Another way I found on the internet is to wash the bucket every week and replace nutrients.
