WEEK 4
Week 4 is here and it is Monday (23/4) morning, this week I will increase MEDI ONE to 4 ml per litre and will be keeping LIQUID WEIGHT at 1 ml per litre.
I will also start to give 0.5 ml of Liquid weight in between the main feeds.
****DAY 22: 23/4/18****
10AM - NUTRIENT FEED - MEDI ONE 4 ml & LIQUID WEIGHT 1 ml - 1 LITRE WATER - PH 5.8
****DAY 23: 24/4/18****
10AM - LIQUID WEIGHT 0.5 ml & 1 LITRE WATER - PH 5.8
I have noticed a lighter shade of green on the tips of a few leaves, I believe that this may be due to the LED light being too strong because all of the lower leaves that were in the shade were completely fine. I have raised the light to 31 inches away.
She has had 1 or 2 lighter tips since she was very young before I gave any nutrients and the fact I am using 100% Organic nutrients I believe it is the light not nutrient burn, but I have decided to play it safe and ease off the nutrient amount. I will remain on a FEED - WATER - FEED schedule and will decrease the MEDI ONE amount to 2.5 ml per litre next feed and see how things go. Liquid weight will remain the same.
****DAY 24: 25/4/18****
Today I started the Low stress training and it went very well, no snaps or breaks :). I am looking forward to how she responds to it.
There has been no change to the leaves with the lighter shade of green, so that is a positive.
10AM - NUTRIENT FEED - MEDI ONE 2.5 ml & LIQUID WEIGHT 1 ml - 1 Litre of PH 5.8 Water
****DAY 25: 26/4/18****
10AM - 1 LITRE OF PLAIN PH 5.8 WATER
****DAY 26: 27/4/18****
10AM - NUTRIENT FEED - MEDI ONE 2.5 ml & LIQUID WEIGHT 1 ml - 1 Litre of PH 5.8 Water
****DAY 27: 28/4/18****
10AM - 1 LITRE OF PLAIN PH 5.8 WATER
****DAY 28: 28/4/18****
Today I have noticed some lime green/yellow tips of the new growth despite nutrients being decreased to 2.5 ml per litre so I have decided to give another plain watering today.
4PM - 1 LITRE OF PLAIN PH 5.8 WATER
Some of the tips of my plants leaves are a lighter shade of green than the rest of the leaf, what could this be?.
I have raised light back up a few inches from 27 in to 30 inches in case it is light bleaching.
Hi,
I can see what you're talking about, its only ever so slightly. Looks like the start of nutrient burn, best way to combat the problem is to feed your plants plain pH'd water for the next feed or two. Should see her new growth coming out healthier and greener if sorted early on. Hope this helps.
I don’t see it in any of the pics, but burnt tips is typically an indication of nutrient burn. You might want to consider backing down a little on your nutrient levels.

@DudeGrowsWeed thanks for the response. I just put up a close up pic.
I also thought it could be nute burn but when I looked back through pics I could see that even before I added nutes there was a lighter shade of green on 1 or 2 leaves. It is only on new growth leaves on the highest points. I will ease off the nutes a little and see what happens.
@Al_Green, I think thats super mild nutrient burn. Light burn typically causes the tips to curl up and the leaves overall to start taking a taco'ish shape (edges curling). But if you're worried about light burn you could also try raising the light a few inches. Good luck!
