I’ve decided to take some creative inspiration from some awesome growmie’s! @DreamOn, @FourTwenny designs their diaries so neat I want to tidy mine up. Hopefully give better insight to my preparation etc.. Also big shoutout to @Sensiboi he’s turns diaries into visual masterpieces check him out on YouTube https://youtube.com/c/ZhulenejTom **My Setup** 📌Grow Type☀️ - Indoor 📌Grow Medium🌴 - Soil (Canna Bio Terra) 📌Tent Size ⛺️ - 0.8x1.6m (just using half) 📌Light 💡 - ViparSpectra XS4000 📌Nutrients 🛢️ - Green Buzz Liquids 📌Misc ⚒️ - Intake (100mm 100cfm) - Exhaust (100mm 350cfm) - Oscillating fan above canopy - Stationary fan bellow canopy - Essentials PH meter (good one is important) - Cheap TDS meter (EC/PPM) From amazon —————- How I prepared the soil Before planting the seeds - I use 16L fabric pots from Root Nurse, 50L of Canna Bio Terra (any suitable soil will do) + 10L of Perlite and 1 Big Bucket —————— - First I put 7L of Straight Soil into each pot. - Second I mix the remaining soil (20+L) with 10L of Perlite and fill the pots. *as you can see my pots aren’t full. I will add some more soil on top of that as soon as all the girls have developed some “true leaves” ——————- Germination: - I like to germinate straight into the soil/coco. With auto flowers I’ve found it best to plant into last pot to avoid flowering too early. however I have transplanted with maximum success at harvest also. - 1.) I only use 100ml of two water with additives (Humic Acid Plus, More Roots, Growzyme) direct the water in the center of the Pot/soil slowly pouring to make sure the water doesn’t puddle much on the surface. - 2.) I take a pen/pencil and measure 1cm. I then press that in making sure to not go over 1cm. If I can see a little hole where the seed could fall deeper... I cover the hole and press it again to make sure it’s not deeper than 1cm. - 3.) After I’ve chosen the seeds I will use, I label the pot individually as I go checking the seed packet - writing the strain name - select pot. 4.) This Next part is personal preference but I do advise you use some method to wet seeds first soaking in individual shot glasses that are labeled with strain names is a preferred method but I swear by this method I will explain... it’s not technical in any manner all you have to do is put the seed in you mouth and suck on it for 5-10 mins.. your saliva has very strong enzymes that help break the seed coat. It works well for me that’s all I need to say. - 5.) Time to plant your seeds, understanding what way the seeds go in is important if you want them all to come up as fast as possible. Best way I can explain it is pointed end down flat side up. Once you have your seeds in the pots sprinkle the top of the hole with some soil as if you’re salting you’re steak literally a sprinkle... - 6.) Lastly spray 1 or 2 squirts over the top of that soil and cover the patch with a piece of plastic wrap used for sandwiches also known as cling film... *note if you have low humidity/high temps you may need to spray again but only very little maybe once or twice max
