I did not want to do another diary on a strain I already grew but the last Mango Tango plants I grew I kinda screwed up royally. I hope I have enough time for one last grow in that tent before it gets too hot for growing around here. I tried to start another strain but the seeds refused to germinate so I thought about starting a plant from cuttings. After some researching I learned about monster cropping which is taking cuttings from a flowering plant.
For monster cropping they say its best to take cutting from a plant around 3 weeks into flowering. i didnt have that option since the donor plant is about 11 or 12 weeks into flowering. The cuttings did come from the bottom of the plant where I seen some small buds starting so I cut those buds, used clonex rooting gel on them an put them into some rockwool that was soaked in recharge and placed them into a propagation dome.
The plan at the moment is to let them go for around 10 days under the dome. By then I hope to see roots coming out of the rockwool and will transplant them into solo cups for about a week and then into 7 gal grow bags with Fox Farms Ocean Forrest soil. Then when they are about 3 weeks old will flip them into flowering. From what I read they say monster cropping will produce shorter bushier plants.
All comments and advice are as always welcomed. I been growing since Sept of last year so my experience is not much and any help is appreciated.
Note: The donor plant is a Mango Tango plant from Elemental Seeds that I bought from Cannabis-Seeds-USA in california. https://cannabis-seeds-usa.com/products/cannabis-seeds-usa-mango-tango-seeds
