Got the Orange Gasm clone from a fellow grower over the summer and grew it out to a small mom. Several weeks ago, 2 very small clones were taken from the mom then placed into Rapid Rooters and put under a humidity dome. At the first sign of roots (about 14 days), they were immediately placed into the veg environment. The veg environment consists of a 2x2x5.5 tent with 3 x 17W 18" Sunblasters at 10cm. Hotwired an old computer fan for air movement but it should be replaced as soon as possible. Net pots are placed in a 60L tub (only filled to 45L) with a small pump and single air stone. Ambient humidity is very low here at about 35%. Ambient temps in basement run about 20-22C. Using the REMO nutrient line as prescribed by the manufacturer using their online calculator (https://www.remonutrients.com/calculator/). I only want to grow a single plant so I'm going to keep the best one just before trellis training starts in 2 or 3 weeks.

Do I need to put H202 (1/4ml per L) in with each feed (once a week) as a preventative measure against things I don't want in the rez? Am I wasting my money?

You can, but I would only use that if there's a problem. H2O2 will kill harmful bacteria, but it will also kill beneficial bacteria (or any other good organisms). You are much better off adding beneficial root organisms. They will out-compete any bad organisms and maintain a healthy medium for your girls. I only use hydroguard and my roots are beautiful.

Is there a cheaper alternative product to Hydroguard available in Canada?

Organic Root Stimulator by B.A.C. is good. Don't know if it's available in Canadia, but is recommendable, if you can get it. Keeps drippers clean too. In fact, all their products are pretty good. Cheers.

After a trip to the local hydro shop, I've decided to go with Microbial Mass as a root enhancer. I've never used one before and that's probably why I don't have explosive root growth during my hydro runs. Live and learn I guess.
