12/10/2020 Planted directly into the coco and 5 gal pots due to the lack of preparedness to do anything else. I spent weeks planning but I couldn’t settle on how to get them started.

Can barely see in these pictures but we have sprouts! Also, don’t mind my terrible perlite job. I felt like when it’s time to take a test and you thought you studied well enough but now you feel like you don’t know a thing 😅. Once they popped, I moved them to a 186 light schedule which is where they will stay. On day two it was time to start the nutes at 200pm and 6.3ph. Following the Coco for Cannabis schedule.

This week came with a decent amount of growth. I’m fairly happy with the way my first grow is going. Started to rethink having four plants in a 3x3 with just a Mars Hydro TS1000 so I purchased a new AC Infinity Cloudlab 4X4 and a TS2000 is on the way. I am noticing that Purple Punch is not down with being watered as much as the other three. They’re all thriving and surviving. She went all weird on me and Pineapple Express is no longer the runt. On 12/26 I skipped her water and she’s already looking a little perkier. So I seemed to have managed to overwater in coco.

Week 3 going well so far. I’m amazed at how quickly they are growing and they are already some stinky girls! I don’t have the fan with the carbon filter up very high yet because I’m trying to regulate the humidity so I can smell them through the bedroom door. We like the smell though! I left Purple Punch alone and let it dry out for a couple of days, watered with no nutes, and reintroduced nutes on 12/30. I think it looks much better! I decided to bump up to 600 PPM with ph floating between 5.5 and 6.3. Plan to let them tell me when they are ready to move on from there until they start to flower. In the meantime, my new TSW 2000 arrived! I’m very excited to see if it makes a difference. My husband was itching to start LST today so save for Purple Punch, they are all tied down.

Well the end of week three was...bad? 😅 Woke up New Years Day and noticed Blue Dream was being defiant and wasn’t really tied down anymore. I tried to fix it thinking I knew what I was doing and... I decapitated her 🤦‍♀️🏾. So now I get to see what happens when you top autos! She doesn’t seem too upset about it. We did a basic mainline on her (by “we” I mean my husband, I banned myself from any training) and she is acting unfazed. No longer the biggest but she’s good. A few days later my husband discovered that Pineapple was getting sliced up from the pipe cleaner. Luckily it wasn’t a full sever and only a few leaves died. Seems to have healed but we will check on Sunday and we will get those leaves off The other three have let me know that they are 100% ladies and Blue looks like she’s close. So it was a stressful week for us and them but hopefully we’re getting close to seeing some flowering.

Another week down and it was drama free! I’m still shocked that I seem to be sort of pulling this off but I’m really enjoying the process. I love opening the tent in the morning to see what they did overnight and the growth this week did not disappoint! Pineapple is still going strong though when we checked Sunday she wasn’t really healed. At this point I’m going to just leave her bandage alone and let her do her thing 😊. Pipe cleaners have all been replaced with plant training wire to prevent further injury. Some kind users helped me recognize that we’re in flower! I appreciate the help! Blue is either just being a typical sativa or she’s still kind of mad at me for “topping” her but she’s not quite there yet. I see early signs but no bloom boosters for her yet.

Can someone take a look at the these photos and let me know if I should start adding my KoolBloom? I don’t know if this is officially flowering or not.

If they're autos then at week 5 they'll be in flower. And if koolbloom is your flower nute then start adding it in low amounts (1-2ml per ltr) if the leaves at the bottom have started fading. Or 1ml/ltr even if they're not fading, keeps you ahead of the game. They look nice and healthy tbf

Another drama free week. The girls are going strong into flowering. Looking a lot less bushy. Yesterday we removed a few lower leaves that were looking rough and making it hard to water. They still seem happy and these fools are thirsty! Pineapple Express my runt, is still the smallest but it’s the furthest along in flowering. Interested to see if she finishes first. She smells amazing too the 🍍 scent is strong and wonderful. Blue is now flowering as well so she’s getting some KoolBloom like the others as of yesterday. She’s not looking too shabby. She’s being a good example of a topped Auto that bounced back for now. Lemon is just a beast for no reason. For a freebie it’s exceeding my expectations. Can’t wait to see how it turns out. Just when it’s time to start flowering, it decides to get rainy and humid here in AZ. Dehumidifier is set to arrive tomorrow so we can nip that in the bud (😉) right away!

Week 7 done and done. We’re looking a lot less bushy now as some of the stretching settles in. Dehumidifier arrived on Monday and it's really helping keep things under control. We do have some high runoff PPMs this week so I will be giving them all some plain water today. Otherwise they seem to be doing well. Pineapple is already sporting some trichomes 😀

Missed a couple of weeks but still moving along. During week 8 we hit a bump when we realized Lemon wanted to be watered twice a day. It was looking really droopy most of the time. We started watering them all but with just no calmag and Lemon and Blue suffered some pretty widespread signs of calcium deficiency. While they’re all thickening up, Lemon is slow and doesn’t have many trichomes. Purple didn’t stretch much so she’s very short and bushy. Blue and Pineapple are the best two but Pineapple is definitely the prize winner. Probably going to chop the last two in the next week or so. Luckily we have another tent they can be in while we let the others finish up. It’s been fun but we’re both ready for a break from the process.
