It was planted very late. No any expectations. The day was already short so it started to flower too early. It didn’t grow much so I was thinking it would be a single bud dwarf. Good luck it was a female and another one was also a female. But then I decided to convert it back to veg stage by using a simple street led light of 100 watts. Just left it working in the night above these two little ladies.

The constant light helped to bring them back to growth. And they started to grow very rapid. I just bent the top with a piece of wire to the dripping hose. Then bent the lower branch the same way. The soil is full of nitrogen. It worked against me in hot summer, but in a colder winter it is exactly what is needed. Read it in Ed Rosenthal’s book. The one on the right side was growing faster so I didn’t bend the left one just to keep them both the same level

That was the most exciting week, as both ladies start to grow really fast and send a lot of branches without any topping. Good sensi genetics showed up. Looks like this strain matched the perfect conditions. Colder temperatures, the right amount of nitrogen in the soil. This week I really got the hope to get good crop.

As girls became big enough, I’ve stopped giving the supplemental light and forced them to flower. In less than one month from shitty little bushes they became two princess ) The stem of the right one ( the one was LST) is 3 times mor fat than the stem of the left. Until now no extra feeding. Just water and soil of my garden. Looks like it is full of nitrogen.

The flowering started! But Early Skunk keeps growing. The top colas stretched above the rest of canopy. Funny how these two plants are not sending branches towards each other. It looks like the agree to keep borders and both of them are following the deal.

Gave them some of local flowering fertilizer. Super diluted. Just sprayed on the leaves. This grow I will not make any defoliation. To see if it was a right advice to remove leaves in order to give some air for the plant ( wide spread advise in internet). I have a feeling that the more leaves it has the faster it develops

The flowering is going full power. Now I’m sure I have two different strains or two phenotypes of one. And one of them is surely indica dominant and another is sativa. Ou can see how different the way of developing buds is going on. Sativa goes up and indica goes fat )

Sprayed with some local flowering fertilizer. 4ml per 1 liter of filtered water. Last time I think. Trying to implement one rule. If the plant grows good and looks good - don’t touch it ) No defoliation. A little of pest control, a little of flowering fertilizer. That’s it. And looks like the winter gives the best conditions for the combination of European outdoor strains and local soil full of nitrogen.

It started to smell much stronger. And a small issue with caterpillars appeared. Collected some of them right from the buds. Looks like a little butterfly put some eggs right into the flowers. Every day I collect like 3-4 of them while buds look ok. The flowers already look smokable ) but I know that there are 4 weeks left for them to mature. The most difficult time

If I try to leave my bush alive until 21 of March, do you think it can start growing again with the daylight increased? What to do with some small buds left at the bottom of the bush?

Hi, you can do it...let the plant finish out, cut off the top main finished buds, and re-veg it back to 18/6.

The six’s week of flowering. The problem will little caterpillars still here. Every day collect 4-5 of them. Watering every second day 25 min with a dripping system. Direct sun is from 9:30 until 13:40. The rest of the day the light is reflected from the walls around. Looks like I will not be able to harvest all in one shot. Buds inside the bush are delayed in developing.

Had to cut few branches which were affected by caterpillars. So what they do is just eating the beginning of the flower’s branch and all of a sudden you have one dry flower in the middle of a bud. Just one butterfly and so much headache. I start to understand why people putting airconditioners in their grow rooms. Looks like weed likes to have somewhere around 20 Celsius. In a hot summer the nutrition has to be different, with less nitrogen otherwise over feeding appears with claw on the tip of a leaf. You don’t see this with the same soil with less temperature. Who found a caterpillar on the pictures?

Keep loosing the battle with caterpillars. Had to cut many branches affected. Still hope to have some until the ripening.
