WELCOME, 2021! Let's plant a tree! In an humble gesture of hope tonight I am planting a tree (3 trees!) Those Afghan kush ganja plants represents hope and faith for the future. Not to mentioned, tomorrow I have to chop my Malawi and it is giving me the blues.
Could be leaf borer. I never seen the damn worm only the damage the left behind. Usually these do not attack indica. This is a bit of a puzzle.
What soil did you use?
Metharhizium helps if it is the worm.
Another trick i learned fro @GYOweed is aspirin. For me It is easier to get than Salicylic Acid. It boos plant immunity. Leaves thicken after a week.
@Med_in_Tropic, forgot to mention, either SA (a skin product too by the way) or asprin in low ppm ro or filtered once dissolved will make ph drop 1-2 which for outdoors is ok
plants were transplanted and put on 18-6 light cycle for first time 4 days ago. Night temps went down to 65. That is when most damage appeared. Plants were put back on a 24 hr light schedule and other leaf damage got limited since then.
This rules out light burn and bugs.
Might give them aspirin tonight! I will see if I can pinpoint what is really going on.
Iam also receiving a new pH pen tonight I have been told it could be pH issue. Soil is the same as all other plant, who seems to be ok. It was amended with double dose of minerals, EWC and kelp meal.
Yup, ph issues. Could be the temperature swing too im having stupid drooping we got a big cold front and there goes my VPD so i covered my babies with zip 1 gal bags.

Actually looking at your temp and rh they both low for fast vegging plant. 40+ 75 is ideal since you have plastic pots that dont breath they stay warmer. In fabric pots i need 80f and 70rh soil stays cool not cold and they just blast off! VPD, ph, ppm.
@GYOweed, I really appreciate that you took time to see what was going on and cared enough to type some advice. Sometimes a second pair of eyes is what we need! Seems like you were right with pH swing: might be the difference from soil I've used to sow the seed and new freshly ammended soil I took for transplant last week. I am new in soil and did not took care to monitor soil pH.
New soil is 6.7ph with 475ppm and all plants are back on growing. I am keeping a close eye on them and rest of my plant.
Thank you to you and to Med_in_Tropic!
Looks like the plant fought off bugs. Pat it on the back but take preventative like med said u can try .325mg asprin per gallon mix well n water once or spray neem.
Theres also cannabis diagnostics sites
*edit* im probably wrong, i see no trails of sap. Did the leave hairs get bigger n harder? Probably not
@TokyoStreet, I went to look for your journal and could not find your AK diary. My Afghan kush are now all affected by a weird disease that was most probably seed born. Plants shows light green patch like if the chlorophyll was striped from leaf, then leaf dry.
Please, let me know about what happened to your plants!!
oooo look at your Afghans!!! I'm on week 8 of flowering and I still feel like I'ma give mine another week before I chop. But I chopped a branch off last week and smoked it and it was a decent feeling!! <3
