3/14 Overall, the TD auto was easy to grow. They responded well to LST. They could handle nutrients at a photo period equivalence and I followed the Dakine420 chart for the majority of flower. Only difficult time, was due to my overwatering. They bounced back from the overwatering and produced a lot of gorgeous flowers. Anxious to get trimming done, drying, curing, weighing, and enjoying.
3/18... Some are still hanging. Some were ready for jar curing and some need some time to dry in the large bowl, before jar curing.
3/20... final weight 471 grams. I am impressed with those TD auto plants. They exceeded my expectations.
@KentuckyOG60, I traded for the 5 TD beans. Well, I will trade, as soon as I cross paths with them again. I now have some Zkittles that I am paying back with. Grabbed 20 photo during a recent ILGM sale. I am eager to see the end results of the TD, as I have never run autos. 😎
@HAPPY91, I would have liked for 100% success, but still pleased with the 4 out of 5. The 5th one tried to start and just didn't make it. At least it tried.
@KentuckyOG60, Your's look great, too! I have been watching your diary and figured I would start one, too. You have about 3 weeks of a head start on me.
question...did you run into much problems with the general health of these plants? I ask because I'm having real difficulty with the plants appearing very droopy in between water or feeding. I'm leaning towards it being caused by the actual size of the plant being too big for the 3 gal pots. It's not strain specific because the N lights in the same tent on the exact same schedule is also affected. Both are roughly the same size at well over 30 inches tall. The skunk auto in same tent, 6 weeks or so behind so obviously much smaller doesn't seem to be suffering.
@@@pizzaman841, Overall they were healthy and pretty easy. I over-watered one time. I tried to water until run off. They didn't like that. After that, I watered them more carefully. They were fed daily. I reduced my amount of water, so that the next day.... they were just needing watering. Tried to keep a nice balance of moist to dry enough to allow roots to breathe. Never dry enough where they drooped. I am sure I could have watered less often, if I had 5 gallon pots. I didn't mind the 3 gallon. I sorta think of treating Pro-Mix like when I used to grow with rockwool. Back then, I used a res, dripper, and pump system. I hand water these days, but I still think of it that way.
