I am going to pick up supplies and get them going.
Darn those Fungas Gnats!! They are driving me crrrazy. I have been foiler spraying and doing my in between nutrients feeds with Hudrogen Peroxide and I feel like they just never dissapear.
Just super happy that the growth seems to not be affected and the plant is healthy.
I also added a bit of blood meal as I read that the plants need high levels of nitrogen to help increase growth. I just hope it is not to much. Time will show 😀
Gave up trying to kill the fungas gnats. Just going to continue with peroxide treatment during beginning of flower. Super excited getting my Keegrow light to use in one tent and be able to use the 4 other lights for the other tent. Next week I go to 12/12.
Noticed what looked like spider mites on lower leaves so defoliated. Have been dealing with Fungas Gnats.
Treatment has been 3% Peroxide 1 part to 4 parts water as a foiler spray with top spil spray.
Plants did not seem to stretch as much as tent B in other grow journal.
Pistils seem to be more abundant and thicker though.
Pistils are thick.
Appears that buds are starting with fattening.
Accidentally fed nutrients 2 waterings in a row.
Watering every 3 days. Given Plain tap water on 3rd watering.
Flower 4 weeks. I have noticed thru flower approx 5 - 10 leaves/week which eventually brown, shrivel up, and fall off. Leaves seem dark and the stems are slightly reddish purple but potassium test on soil shows high potassium. Some burnt tips and claw down on upper leaves. PH6.0
Even though from what I can tell is good growth in flower this week I had to come to terms with the fact that I caused Nitrogen Toxicity when I repotted back on week 7 of Veg. (Veg weeks to be added)
- Plants never really gained height in comparison to my other grow during the stretch. (Diary to be added shortly)
-Leaves are dark, and have the claw with purple stems.
-Water uptake is a little slow.
-And trichomes appear to be producing slowly.
The below I believe is my errors that contributed to the toxicity.
* I did not prewash my new pots.
-The pots are thick, stiff and do not appear to drain very well.
* Also added Blood Meal to my soil mixture and continued to feed with blood meal and nutrients.
* And mixing up the Veg Base and nutrient amounts.
I am waiting another day or two for them to dry out and then I will flush them with 10 Gallons of water.
Hoping for a good week and some recovery.
I flushed with 16L of water for nitrogen toxicity. Going forward I am going to continue using Sensi Bloom nutrients and I am wondering if it would be beneficial to just use Sensi Bloom part B since part A is an NPK 3-0-0.
Depends. I wouldn't much unless it contains all of your micronutrients. In that case the trick will be finding that perfect balance. They don't need much N right now, but they do need some. Cut your usage in half or do a quarter of what the bottle says.
this is normal with the strains that made up this strain, this has skunk #1 in it and afgani. the two strain esp. the skunk#1 will have their pistols turn a lot faster, no worries though cause your plant will be ripe in a few weeks. when harvest comes you will notice more brown pistols. it is all part of the process and all normal for this strain. looks good so far, happy soon to be harvest
The pistils are turning brown everywhere. I took some pics and finding it super hard to get a clear zoom with the camera phone, with a magnifying glass even.
It is only 35 days (wk.5) and I'm still concerned that I am closer to harvest then the 7 week flower average.
None of the leaves have the tell tale yellowing sign, but the thrichome seems like they may be turning amber from what I can make out 😥
I am going to try and get a camera with better zoom but overall I am happy my plants are still alive 😁

I am looking to get some insight into nitrogen toxicity.
I have read that any affected leaves will never recover.
*Do leaves get lighter?
*How will I know if the toxicity has been corrected?
*How often to flush?

The color of green in your leaves will indicate the nitrogen levels. Do not stop feeding all together. Do flush out extra nutes. Replace with new mix. Plant still is using other nutrients. Your picture does not show nitrogen toxicity. Leaves claw with toxicity. Your level is high. But not toxic. Ease off nitrogen amount if you can a little. Good luck and happy growing 🌲🌲🌲👊
The smell is so potent. It smells like stinky cheese mixed with pine deodorant to me.
The buds seem super fat to me, but then I am a proud mom 😋
For nutrients I held off bloom nutes last week and staryed this week with half strength to reduce the amount of nitrogen going to my girls.
I am watching those trichomes like crazy with excitement for chop day.
It's the start of wk.6 if I may please get a check on harvest timeline and also double check that the pistils are not bananas to my untrained eyes.

To me, these flowers look ready to harvest right now, as this is my preferred level of maturity/ripeness and will produce a more clear and positive high. Leaving the plant for another 5-7 days will result in a heavy, sleepy and lethargic type of stone. It is up to you and your preferred effect, but any much longer and you will end up with a rather degraded THC quality due to your plants metabolism having nearly stopped by now, causing the THC to break down into CBD and CBN, which produce the heavy drowsy effect. Either way, harvest in the morning time, putting them in darkness for more than a night will just slow her metabolism even further, resulting in even more THC breaking down. I splurged on the $13 jewelers loop, and I'm super happy I did! I can now see the trichomes so much more clearly.
I see milky trichomes with my camera phone but with the loop I see about 2% amber.
I'm gonna harvest the buds right away. Super stoked.
