Week 11 (2nd week of flower!)
This week we'll continue to increase the light intensity and start to lower the day-time temperature.
We'll be increasing our feeding ppm's and will likely do a bit of lolipopping to remove some lower fan leaves.
Day 71 (day 11 of flower):
- increased light intensity from 65% to 70%. LUX levels are about 28,000 across canopy.
Day 72 (day 12 of flower):
- no changes
Day 73 (day 13 of flower):
- watered Plant #2 with dechlorinated water with 1ml/L of BioBizz's "Bio-Grow", "Bio-Bloom", "Top-Max" & "Acti-Vera", .5ml/L of Remo Nutrients' "VeloKelp". This resulted in a 500ppm solution, pH 6.3.
- runoff from Plant #2 measured at 1950ppm, pH 6.8.
Day 74 (day 14 of flower):
- increased light intensity from 70% to 75%.
- raised the light to provide 24 to 26 inch distance to canopy.
- LUX at canopy: 30,000+
Day 75 (day 15 of flower):
- watered Plant #1 with dechlorinated tap water with 1ml/L of BioBizz's "Bio-Grow" & "Top-Max", 1.5ml/L of "Bio-Bloom" & "Acti-Vera", .5ml/L of Remo Nutrients' "VeloKelp".
- Resulted in 550ppm solution, pH 6.4.
Day 76 (day 16 of flower):
- no changes
- trichomes are really starting to show on some of the sugar leaves
Day 77 (day 17 of flower):
- no changes
- smell is becoming stronger
@timbarin, so far we've only used it the one day, for about 2-3hrs during the warmest part of the afternoon. When the outside temps are above 10C, and with our light at 90% intensity, the tent would reach 84F, instead of the 78F that we're aiming for.
@MrHightimes, Ya, it's kind of weird because for the first few months that we had that pH meter, it needed calibration almost every week! We never knew if we could trust it... but since then, it seems to have stabilized and we haven't had to calibrate it for months. We check it with pH reference solution every few weeks and it's been spot on. We'd love to upgrade to the Blue Labs meter but it isn't necessary quite yet. The only complaint that we might have is that it takes a couple of minutes to get a true reading, whereas the TDS meter we have gives you accurate readings in just seconds.
nice grows! can you tell me how satisfied you are with the AC INFINITI T6? have you used other brands and how dos it compare? I am eyeing one now for the controls set up features, does it clear humidity? heat? and how quiet is it?
thank you for your feedback!
@Stonyways, Hi, we've been really happy with the Cloudline T6 fan. It works very well and has programmable settings. We currently have it set to turn on any time the temperature reaches 81F or any time the humidity exceeds 61%. We're glad we got the 6" version instead of the 4" version, since we can run the fan at lower speeds, which means it's very quiet. It's actually much quieter than our little oscillating fan! It's quite powerful and has no problem managing heat and humidity in our little tent. I think you could easily put this in a 4x4 or 6x6 tent and it would work just as well.
As the female half of "VanCplGrows", i don't have a lot of experience with other fans so i can't really compare it to anything but it does everything that we want and it does it well!
@timbarin, Thanks brother! We're a bit slow with our replies this week but we are happy to be back and happy to have ya following along on our latest grow. Cheers!
@Beachbudz, Absolutely! They may not be the biggest plants for 14 weeks but it's been a great learning process and we sort of prefer the leisurely schedule compared to the autoflowers we were growing before... which always seemed like a race against time, especially if you run into any problems like deficiencies or other. This has been a very comfortable grow for us. ๐
