Cock a Doodle Dooooo, growers.
Well tracking said the seeds were delivered in the box, so I go's n look, yup. Received 5 Pineapple and have them soaking.
1-3 update
Germ method. Seeds in glass of spring water for 15 hours, then in wet (spring water) paper towel folded a few times to make it thick and hold the moisture. At this point the seeds HAVE to have Oxygen so NOT too much water to cover or soak/submerge, still dark though. Once I got me a lil Tail about ¾ inch showing, (woooo hooo) in the Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil in the Fabric 3 Gal pot. AND therrrrr off to the Races, the clock is ticking on the Auto’s.
1-5
4 out of 5 seed grew some tail. Planted directly in the 3 gallon fabric pot with FF Ocean Forest. TSW2000 on 50%
1-8
All 4 girls popped up and look fairly normal 10 fingers 10 toes, lololol. I will give them a few days for the roots to take on then I will give them a full over the bucket warm water soaking.
1-9
1 Day old and they all popped up. I had one seed that did not germinate and 4 that are nice and strong. I ordered a ceramic heat light to boost up the night time temps a wee bit. The light go's off at 2 am and back on at 6 am. At 6 am I start the Mr Heater in the main grow room which is 12x12 and the 3 grow tents are inside. I run the heater for 20 minutes or so and that jacks up the co2 to over 1200 PPM, which is what I understand that max that plants can assimilate. Per my calculations I need to run the heater for 8 minutes to raise the co2 to 1200 PPM as there are 300 PPM in the air normally. Running the heater also warms the room up. My grow set up is pretty much in an outer building and it is Winter here with temps 20F at night and as cold as -10F. I just have a lil electric oil heater that keeps the main room at min 55 then the lights give off some heat to keep the tent nice and cozy,
Girls are planted in FF Ocean Forest and I will not feed right away, prolly feed when I top/fim. From my research, the Autos do not need as much feed, so I plan to cut my normal feeding in half to start and see how they do.
The first part of this diary and the Zkitllez diary are the same until I split the girls into their own tents. No need at this point for 2 tents, but I DO want them separate for the main grow.
1-12 Update
4 days old and looking good, no issues so far. Hitting them in the am with co2 from mr heater fill the room to over 1500 ppm and raise the morning temps.
1-14 Update
updated pics last set for this week. Going to give a good over the bucket watering today.
1-15
Girls are progressing nicely. Gave them a full over the bucket watering and will feed this next watering on 1-17. Working on better lighting for the pics and working on better pics. My plan is to top the biggest 2 with some lst and just lst on 1 and nothing on the other.
1-19 Update
Well it is looking like my over the bucket watering was over the top too much. The girls look to me like they are over watered. I have never had that issue before as I have a pretty good system, (I thought) but everything I am using is new to me, fabric pots, FF soil, LED Light and grow tent. It seems these pots do not drain the same and I thought that they would have drained better. Planning to place some thing under them for better drainage, I purposely did not place them in a tray. They have not had any nute, just what is in the FF soil, so from what I can tell I have over watered, if there is a difference of opinion please do share. Some of the leaf signs are the same as nute burn and over watering. I just plan to let them dry out and do their thing, I will meter the water in the pots from now on until I am familiar with my new components. Hoping I have not stunted them or slowed them down too much as I still want to top/fim a couple of them. Rock on
1-21 Update
Well I ding dang done diddly doo did it, I topped/fim 2 of them. The 3rd node was just sitting there so perfect to whack. I do not believe that the topping slows the growth very much, usually I see new sprouts the next day or 2, so that tell me the plant is not slowing down much, yes I am sure some. Again that is more with regular plants, this is my first go round with the Auto's, been reading A LOT, from the growers here, totally flipp Rock N Roll SOLID group of Folks. This grow is as much of a test for me as anything and ALL new style, great challenge. Keep your Rock Loud N Proud
1-22 Update
Last pics for this week. New growth from topping. Pots are starting to feel a bit light, so feeding and water on 1-24
1-24
Start of new week and first feeding with House and Gardens. I used a weak mix for first feeding about half strength. My first go round with the Auto's so been studying from the awesome growers here with their kick ass diaries. I have been growing since Methuselah and Dirt were invented, lol lol lol. Yeah I am on old bird but this style of micro grow is new and expanding my brain, new challenge.
"let loose, from the noose"
Keep it Loud n Proud, unless you are TOO OLD, lol lol lol
1-26 Update
Wheeeew Doggggy, it looks like I hit the fims???? Are you kidding me right now, lol, or is it just the Auto's doing their thing? Well I am going to say "I hit the f fim" woooo hooo. I am very curious to see how these girlies compare with the no top/fim to the ones I fimmed. Everything else should be pretty even. They seemed to handle the House and Gardens feeding on half strength ok, so I think I will boost the nutes a lil each week until I am at full strength, or they can't take it and they break weak. I believe They are a lil greener and healthier looking. Rock on, TURN IT UPPPPP
"glad to be back"
1-28 Update
Well after plowing a mile and a half of driveway and shoveling the compound I am ready for the girls. I took the first set of leaves off as I did not get enough FF dirt in the pots, they shrank down and in my haste forgot to refill, so the plants are set down in the pots way more then I like, so the lower leaves were getting bent, I would too, lol lol. So's I nipped them off. (note to self, fill the dam pot). I see a lil burning tips but not too bad and will keep up the feed schedule. These gals started with some over water non drainage issues from dumb Jr woodchuck. I really like the progress of the lower branching on the topped ones. Once the main cola is topped the rest of the shoots try like hell to be the lead shoot and they really take off like in stretch. House and Gardens really helps the new young shoots and there is a lot of branching. Color is getting better with the House and Gardens as well, not perf but better. Gave a trickle of water yesterday and will continue to feed on Sunday Monday.

Mixed progress with these girls as they got off to a ruff start with watering. Fed House and Gardens nutes and bumped up 2ml as they handled the last feed pretty good. Not real concerned at this point, I am thinking they will catch up in the stretch if no more dumb jr woodchuck mistakes. lol lol lol
I am still learning about micro growing and Autos. I am not sure I am liking the Autos. I do like having the option of when to flower to get the size of Ladies I like and condition. One thing for sure, you need to have your sheet together from the very start on the Autos, I am thinking they might be nice for outside because I have a very short Season outside and can Freeze in Sept but so far freezing has not hurt any crops.
PS I forgot to mention that I also H2O spray the leaves when I feed, not with any feed just water, to help clean the leaves and add weight to get the plant stronger for big AZZ Buds.

2-3 Update
Well the Pine did not like the nutes much at all. There is some tip burning and leave dis configuration. I am thinking they will clear up for the stretch and bud. I have seen some pretty ugly veg plants turn out some nice buds. I gave them a good drink of H2O and they perked up a wee lil bit. I did not get the pots full enough of FF dirt in my haste to complete this task and on with other chores, dumb jr woodchuck. I am not sure if it is me or the Genetics but this Pine has not looked up to my standards from the inception of the seed. Very well could be my growing style. Puberty must be close for these girls, soon to be Ladies.
Keep it LOUD

These are not the best looking girls I have had in my garden for quite some time and I guess somewhat comes with all new techniques I am learning. I am not sure but leaning on Genetics and I guess less nutes but these House and Garden's nutes are very low for a Month old plant. Nice deep green on most, with just a lil tip burning. Soooo learning. I know I know, turn the F&$@*@ ROCK up louder, that fixes everything. It aint over yet, I will still give these young ladies my all and try to straighten them out, I am just not really sure what to do, but I will keep on doing it. lol lol. I wont Fret it. I did not look really close but they could have female hairs starting to show not very pronounced yet.

"shot down in flames"
2-11 Update
Looking a lil better, tips still burnt a wee lil bit. This has been a very sensitive plant, or weak genetics. I think they will pull out ok, except for the one that is way behind and tore up. Gave them a good H2O drink and soaked them roots good. I see on the new growth better look healthier looking leaves. I have seen plants do amazing things in Bloom.
I do see they are Maturing Ladies and have some lil white hairs poking out a bit behind my Zkittlez as they are deep up in bloom. First run with Autos is doing ok, lil bumps along the way just make me and them ROCK STRONG.
Hell yeah CRANK it UPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP

We now have Ladies, wheeeew dogggy. They are shaping up a bit. I kept the House and Gardens the same this week and turned up the Mars Hydro TSW2000 to 100%. The Ladies are getting stronger with less leaf dis configuration and burning. I do like the color and condition of the new leaves coming out. The topped plants are a wee lil bit slower but with more bud sites, we will see. These girls have struggled from the start, tho I still think they will be ok for the flower. Not much stretch yet from these but should be good as they get healthy. I will do some defole this week, again leaving one plant natural no topping, no defole the other Ladies will get some and more. lol.
From what I have seen from other Auto diaries many do not defole and they look pretty ding dang dog gone good, other diaries the Ladies are shaved clean, I am somewhere in the tween with my last two harvest being heavy defole. 1 was outdoor, and 1 was indoor and the last HPS grow. We will see if the defole helps with the end dry weight. Really hard to compare as all four Ladies are so different.

Complete defole on the topped 2 and 1 non topped. They are finally really taking off, the new leaves look great and the House and Gardens is doing it's job. Mars Hydro is doing it's job, clearly.

They are really starting to come on from the rough start. I increased the main House and Gardens A and B 1 milly and I can really see the House and Gardens work Even tho they were a wee lil bit messed up from the starting, they have great branching and are starting to turn it on flowering. Mars Hydro is really getting deep to the lower buds. I did a major defole on the topped Ladies and a wee smidgy on the non topped one

Looking much better. Now that the House and Gardens can reach the roots that got burnt from the over HOT FF soil. I did not realize how hot that soil is, not the best choice for starts. (Jr. Woodchuck makes note to self) The really sick lil topped girl is really taking off, she looks to maybe be the biggest in the end, she has just started to flower and has really branched out. SO I take the heat off of Crop King and take it myself, not genetics as much as to hot of soil. The Zkittlez did a lil better.
The next Autos are going outside in a Cocoa FF soil mix in the ground. In Fact I just ordered a few more strains to keep as Mommys, can't go wrong with Gorilla Glue #4, Zkittlez, Orange Bud, and regular seeds Afghani.

Buds are phatening up and getting gooey. I did not feed this last time as I am not sure what to feed as I am not sure what exact condition they are in, so I just figured the nutes for these Autos has been mixed up from the start. Just H2O. The Autos progress at such a rapid level I got way behind and mixed up from my normal feed schedule that I have used for years, flawless. I will do Autos again, as they do have their place, but for now, fems and regulars. My Gelato plants look to be perfect with the House and Gardens nutes.

Happy St Patty's Day
They are starting to get stinky and phat. They have been thirsty Ladies. The Mars Hydro TSW2000 gets them all worked up. They are all stunted from the soil being to hot for seedlings, but finishing up ok. I needed to do more defole, just have not made the time. I am just on water no nutes for the rest of this go ground. I learned a lot and that is a good thing. Jr Woodchucks always need to be learning. I am going to try the Autos again but Outdoors and try to time the finish. The last pic of the Lady was/is the runt that was topped. Super duper squaty, all of these pheno's were. Getting really goooooey to touch, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm touching a lot. lol lol lol lol lol

Rock on.
Crop King delivered High Quality Product. Easy to purchase and receive, with super fast shipping. Great Germination ratio. I have absolutely no complaints with all the seeds I have purchased From Crop King. I had a learning experience with the Auto Flowering and did not do a very good job starting them out. Fabulous root structure and quality. I would/will purchase more seeds from Crop King.
I did just purchase 3 more strains from Crop King so, Follow those Diaries to see how they/I did.
Just whacked em down and gave them 48 hours of kewl dark, chlorophyll burning time. I only whacked 2 when they started to get only a few ambers. I left 2, the one really slow stunted one as it still has a ways to go. More to come, sorry super busy with life. lol lol lol. expecting around 100 g dry, we will see, super dense buds. That is my basic rule of harvest loose 2/3 of weight in curing. No stems just buds and T R I C H SSSSSSSS
Harvested the last 2, really nice smoke and buds, great Pheno. Not much for quantity but really nice dense buds. I goofed these up with to hot of soil to start. I will try them again.
Welcome to the jungle. ! These girls will give you a fine crop! Very healthy. Plants are dark green that's some powerful nutes! Nice sunrise shot. You live in the mountains?
