01/05 - First grow, second diary. Gorilla glue #4 feminized x2 - crop king seeds. Green crack feminized x2 - crop king seeds.
Plan is to grow some plants and have enough potential clones to fill out a sog or scrog down the road in my 2x4 tent. I'm also testing some of the methods I have seen on grow diaries from other awesome growers.
Depending on how they do I will take one of each to become a mother and keep in my 2x2 tent.
4 GG#4 seeds were soaked in a glass of water for 14 hours and then placed in a wet paper towel. Waited until tap roots were 1/2" long but 2 had become embedded in the paper towel and broke upon removal. 1 of the remaining plants is doing good it seems. The other GG seems petite. She was stunted but seems to be picking up.
I recieved my green crack seeds a week later and dunked both of them in a glass water for 14 hours. Placed them both in wet paper towel and then planted once I could tell which way the tap root was headed.
I'll be adding more to this tent as the other seedlings mature. Will be receiving some more strains soon and will document them more closely than these girls.
With enough patience and luck I will hopefully have a nice even canopy of clones in the coming weeks.
01/09 - feeding day. Following Indo nutrient guide. Same feeding amounts as last week. Adjust tap water to 6.0. Feed till 20% run off. Each plant takes ~1 litre every 3-4 days. Did some hst adjustments before watering. On to week 4.
01/13 - the girls have been mostly left untouched since last post and feeding. Bushed back out from last trim. Topped gg2 today. Defoliate the other 3 and continued with hst techniques.
01/17 - girls seemed to have recovered from hst and defoliation last week. Soil is still pretty damp though pots are feeling lighter. Haven't watered for a week and a half. Lowered the humidity to ~45%. Lowered the light by 2".
01/19 - took some clones from GG1 before feeding today. Took 2 of the lowest branches and topped the top 2 branches.
Added an additional 1ml of grow, left bud @2ml and subtracted 1ml of max minerals to compensate for my hard tap water. 6-2-2 and ph to 6.5.
Adjusted the lst ties.
Going to continue trying different techniques and hopefully producing clones until these girls have some friends to fill out the tent.
01/31 - plants seem to be responding nicely to the full strength cal-mag feed. Noticed the yellowing in between the veins for a few weeks but was unsure if it was iron or mag deficiency. Started using tap water that is known to be hard and it never helped.
