Because_I_do_that Normally I allow a a couple days of taproot growth. This time I decided to drop into Jiffy pellets as soon as I saw which end the taproot was coming from. Germinated in paper towel in 3 days.

Because_I_do_that Aggressive early growth in week 1. After a few days in their jiffy pellets I transferred to their permanent home. I use a custom blend of 40% organic soil, 30% coco, and 30% perlite. I also add about a half cup of worm castings per gallon of prepared growing medium. LST to begin within next 1-2 weeks.

Because_I_do_that Going great. Plant 1 is definitely growing at a faster rate than plant 2, but it is healthy. Confident it will catch up. Also did some very light defoliation this week on single blade and 3-blade leaves. Also some tucking to get light to the lower growth.
