Sad week as I lost one of the ladies to overwatering. Didn't think I could do that with these wicking planters, I was definitely wrong. The 'finger test' that was so reliable for me in fabric pots is a no go with these bucket. Thankfully, a $10 water meter has saved me from taking the other two plants down the same road. 10-12" below the surface the soil is plenty moist and the roots have no trouble pulling it up
