Hello all again for another happy adventure...... This time I will be using this female Granddaddy Purple from ILGM.
1/7:
Put seed in wet paper towel in zip bag in small box in warm spot.
1/9:
Seed split open a nice long healthy tap. I placed in 0.25 gal pot with Coast Of Maine Stonington Blend sprayed water and put in germination dome flaps closed under Maxsisun PB1500 on lowest setting in small tent. 70-80 F 70%-99%
1/10:
Sprayed top soil. Seed has pushed above soil but no green yet. 78.1-81.0 86%-99%
1/11:
Sprayed top in morning and at night. Shot up a couple inches and is showing green and looking very healthy. 76.5-80.8 81%-99%
1/12:
Moved into veg tent under HLG 18/6 cycle still inside germination dome with flaps open. 70.9-77.2 60%-82%
1/13:
Sprayed top soil in morning. 65.3-76.5 60%-82%
1/14:
Lightly sprayed top. Used tweezers to help remove seed shell.
1/15:
Sprayed top in morning. Gently helped separate the 2 starting leaves.
1/16:
Nothing today.
1/17:
Nothing today.
Final Weekly Notes:
Very happy with the how the seed germinated. It was stretching a little extra because the seed was preventing the light from reaching leaves and kept stretching. No issues or problems So far so good and off to an amazing start and very excited to start another adventure with one of my favorites Purple Kush! Thanks for checking out my grows. Leave a comment, hit the like or give me a follow. Always learning something new each and everyday. Good luck stay safe happy growing cheers!!
Nice! I grew ILGM GDP outdoors as my very first grow last year... will be germinating them again later this week. Nice strain, good yield. Best of luck on the grow.
@Rock_n_Roll_Randy,Thank you very much. Her branches are very sensitive and break very easy and will try again for better yield someday. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my grows. Good luck stay safe happy growing cheers!
One of my favorite strains right know. The final yield weight is not that bad, this strains sucks in terms of huge yields. But the bud looks increcible frosty and probably very very sweet smoke! Enjoy her! You've done a great job with her
@@pepitogrillo, I will be growing GDP again someday but I have had the main branches snap 2 different times and the yield is not that great like you said but the smoke is great. I very much thank you for stopping by and checking out my grows. Good luck stay safe happy growing cheers!
@@Charliepugdog, Thanks so much for taking the time to check out my grows and leave a comment. I am really hoping to make this into a huge plant. Good luck stay safe happy growing cheers!!!
@@Waylate, Thanks so much. Using organic super soil makes it so much easier. It may cost a little extra for the bag but in the end the results are easily worth the price plus making it easy just water every now and then and light feed. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my grows. Always learning something new everyday. Good luck stay safe happy growing cheers!!!!!!
@Ganja_Victoria_Aus,Very much enjoy a good GDP. I have grown it once before and I have another one in my bloom tent that is on its last few days. Always learning something new everyday. Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting. Good luck stay safe happy growing cheers!!!!!!
