Gropadawan So I bought all regular seeds in 3 cheap strains. Details on the strains are in the product pictures. I actually don't know much about these hybrid strains, just that a couple are more sativa dominant and one is more indica dominant. It will be fun to test them out -- especially since I can't find reviews online on any of the three.
Germinated in peat pods, then replanted into 3" seedling pots. All 12 regular seeds germinated, which was very surprising to me.
Seedlings didn't get enough light, so did a stretch.

Gropadawan Germinated in peat pods, then replanted into 3" seedling pots. I will have to deal with sexing the plants when they show it, so I'll be wasting a lot of effort growing males as well as females. I will avoid this next time.

Gropadawan Week 2 and I've made a lot of mistakes. Overwatered the seedling and got some leaf yellowing/dieback. Of course originally didn't give them enough light, so the seedlings got stretchy.
Since these are regular seeds, I am growing several of each strain with the hopes to get a least one female of each strain.
Finally got them into my new Spider tent.

Gropadawan This week I did the following:
- Changed from soil in original 3" pots to 70% Coco 30% Perlite
- Replanted into 1 gal containers
- Started nutrients using FloraNova Grow at 0.5 Tsp/gal.
Overall the plants are doing well, despite some overwatering. They are now starting to grow their first full leaves, leaving the seedling stage and moving into the vegetative stage.

Gropadawan Plants growing rapidly. I want to bring down from 12 plants to 3 plants: One of each strain. Therefore I took Delta Labs DNA samples of 2 of each strain, hoping to get a female in each strain. Hope to have just 3 plants next week.

Gropadawan A lot happened this week:
- I sent in 6 DNA samples last week to DeltaLeaf for Sexing Analysis. 5 out of 6 were females. Since I have 3 strains, I picked the best female plant of each and repotted into 5 gal cloth containers.
- Topped all 3 strains: Burning Man & Lemon Extract after 3rd Node, and Hazelnut Cream after 4th Node since it's a bit shorter than the others. Removed some of the lower branches on each.
- Used LST to push 4 branches horizontally from each plant.
- Lots of stress on the plants this week. All 3 plants were quite healthy, so I'm hoping they can handle the stress and recover quickly. I'll leave them alone for a couple of weeks.

Gropadawan A week of rest for the ladies. Last week I topped and LST'ed some branches. This week added the ScrOG netting at 8" above substrate.
The indica genetics or sativa genetics seem to be more evident now in size and leaf structure.

Gropadawan We're having a big freeze in the state and they are asking us to conserve electricity, so I didn't add extra heat to the grow room. Plants still expanding though, so this is the last week of vegetation. The ScrOG is almost full, so I expect it will fill in during the first couple weeks of flower.
Changed the lighting to 12/12 on Day 48.
Bought the Clone Master 25 to take clones of these 3 plants before they shift to flower. Took 3 snips of the 3 different strains. Going to play with clones a bit.

Gropadawan First partial week after flipping to 12/12 Light on Day 48. Double-checking to make sure that the genetic tests were accurate and that I actually do have 3 females -- since these were grown from regular seeds. Sure looks that way.

Gropadawan Continuing on in week 2 of flower. Used the orange elbow joints to take Burning Man down some so that it doesn't overwhelm the other two strains. Ready for these ladies to quit stretching.
Set up a second very small tent for clones, seedlings, and vegging.

Gropadawan Buds forming well. I hope the stretch is ending because I am running out of vertical space. I have not been training since last weekend hoping the stretch would slow.
Performed light defoliation - just removed some of the bigger fan leaves to allow light penetration and air flow.

Gropadawan Plants are nearing end of stretch. Sativa-dominant Hazelnut Cream continuing to stretch after the other two slowing down. None too soon as I'm running out of height space in this tent. The light is about as high as it can go.
Having trouble getting RH down into the 40's. Added a dehumidifier into the tent during the days, but it doesn't seem to bring the RH down more than 5 degrees or so inside the tent. Need to get it down into the 40s somehow.
So I'm having trouble getting RH down into the 40s. They tend to stay between 55 - 60 even after adding a dehumidifier into the 27"x27"x5' tent. Any suggestions?
A good defoliation will bring down humidity . It looks a little overcrowded in there. Or upgrade the dehumidifier .
Low 40s rh isn't needed this early in flower I don't think . You should be good around 50 . Then bring it down towards the end if you can.
They will still flower mold free with 50 to 60 humidity as long as their is good airflow in the tent . Good luck 👍
Gropadawan Trying to keep humidity down. Performed light defoliation for that purpose.

Gropadawan Day 41 of flower.
Did a light to medium defoliation last weekend to bring RH under control. Still can't get it down much, but I'm done defoliating since I'm at week 6. I try to leave the tent open some days, which really brings down the RH. Temps have been good in the 70's.
Last week I added a wifi hygrometer into both of my tents, so now I have incredible visibility to temp and RH.

Gropadawan Day 46 of Flower, 93 since germination.
Starting to check the trichomes with my new wifi microscope. Looks like Lemon Extract has a scattering of amber trichome heads, but only in bud nearest the light. All other look milky and glassy. I'm thinking Lemon Extract might harvest in one week. The others, maybe two weeks.
Gave the ladies their last feeding today. Just PH balanced water from here til harvest.

Thought I would harvest Burning Man this week, but looking at trichomes, I think I'll wait another week or so, since very little amber at all.

Gropadawan This week I cut down all three strains, did some light wet pruning, and filled up the racks with wet bud.
Burning Man - 1.5 racks
Hazelnut Cream - 1 rack
Lemon Extract - 2.5 racks
Lemon Extract is obviously the biggest producer, and that was a bit surprising to me I sure hope I like it, as I'd grow it again for the heavy production.
Gropadawan This strain is so strong it's probably a keeper. Next grow we need to figure out how to make bigger, more dense buds, but the effects of this strain are first rate.
This was grown in a 2'x2' indoor tent with 2 other strains, so the sq ft overall available to it was pretty small.😀
Gropadawan Good sativa effects. Can cause anxiety or paranoia in large does. In a tent with 3 different strains, this plant dominated and produced twice the yield of the other 2.
