Fugue State, DWC with side lighting

I germinated this seed in a glass of water, transferring it to a seed plug in that glass for root development. My TDS was 160 ppm from germination up to day 12 using RO water. Day 12 it was transfered to DWC using 1/2 tsp of cal/mag and 1/2 tsp Maxigrow and 15 ml sensizym watered down to 300 ppm. End of week 8 . I'm having a hard time keeping humidity up . This my first time growing Fugue State so I am only leaf tucking so I can see how it grows. Love this strain so far ,I can see changes daily.

I've added photos on day 58 showing the 8 side lights (152 watts) and one top light (125 watts). DAY 59 , Freezing temperatures outside have the humidity so low that my evaporative humidifier in the grow tent is struggling . My plant is drinking so much because of conditions. I have lowered the tds to 600 keeping the nutrient amout the same, just adding it to a larger volume of water. PH ,TDS and solution levels are checked twice a day and adjusted using the blue drainage tube in the bottom of the 19 liter pail. Memphisto says this strain finishes quickly so I am keeping this in mind, as I want to flush the plant properly. The only training I have done is leaf tucking when the plant was 3/4 weeks old so this the result. I plan to photo, maybe video, the plant when done to show the results. This strain is relatively low odor . I have a charcoal filter, but leave my downstairs grow tent partially open for cooling and it can not be smelt upstairs. Low odor so far, but if I get my nose close up to a bud it has a nice tropical mango smell. So nice. Day 61 and I can see the buds building weight, getting wider and pistils browning. I brushed up against the plant as I was adjusting a side light and my forearm smelt like pineapple, mango and Christmas tree and pepper. Week 10 should be interesting.

Day 1 of week 10 and this grow has progressed a lot in the last week. The pistils have gone from all white to most buds having over 50% brown. Upon close examination of the buds, there are no amber trichomes. So we wait.... Under a 30x loupe, the trichomes look mostly milky with a few ambers hanging around. Tomorrow morning I will start with a flush. Day 67 start of flush. Day 68 one day of flush shows some faded leaves. TDS in reservoir is 33 ppm so two day flush should be good. Day 69 two mini footballs in honour of Super Bowl. Fantastic harvest. Wet bud weight is 1265 grams! Not the closest trimmed buds because a lot will end up in edibles. I will report on the weight going into cure. Not one leaf was harmed in the growth of this plant.

Lots of buds. This is a great strain - possibly my frostiest buds yet. Super easy to harvest with very little trimming required. If this turns out to be uplifting and mood enhancing, I will grow it regularly. Yes, some minor training could have enhanced the grow, but not much is required. I used drops for checking PH for this entire grow. I would say that Fugue State is not ph sensitive just keep it in the zone. Humidity was between 20 to 30 % for most of the grow, not sensitive there either.. Total wattage LEDs used at the end of grow was 277. I dry my buds in brown paper bags .I check them daily for mold and to even out the dry. It also helps with plant separation anxiety. Burping the jars once daily and moving hygrometer . 5th day of cure and all is well. Big chonkey buds. Average jar 80% full is 45 grams @ 65% RH. Grams per watt approximately 1.48. Very young, but vapes smooth with a slight taste of lemon meringue. Strong in your head and long lasting-perfect! Now for a long cure. April 6th decided to make a tincture. I decarb 30 grams and use Everclear to make the tincture, which I will eventually make canna sugar. Oh man those buds are solid , smell of mango , floral and pine and pepper. Not the loudest buds but i'm OK with that. I decarb in my instant pot in jars. Freeze the Everclear and weed, combined and mix for 3 mins strain , rinse twice. Let the tincture sit for 4 months to reach full strength. I will sample some Bud today. Vapes very smooth. I found myself licking my lips, tastes like it smells. Strong happy high. Long lasting, most will assume it's a photoperiod. This is such a great high . Uphoric yet you still can function. After 4 months of curing at around 62% humidity a nice orange citrus haze smell comes from the jars. Top notch looking as well. Do yourself a favor, do a long cure on some of these buds. I Crack a jar just for a sniff. Instant smile.
