I have a fancy new grow setup that I have been building in my new place and this grow is the first to try and see how CO2 enrichment goes. I'm an engineer by trade so the building of the set up is half the fun. I wanted to hit the seedlings as early as possible with the benefits of CO2 enrichment - which of course then requires a steep elevation in light intensity and also ambient temperature to bring the benefits of a faster growth rate. The seedlings did not react negatively to the sudden increase in light intensity - I think many DIY growers coddle seedlings too much. 1) Seeds were placed pointy end down into dry growdan cube. 2) Cubes were placed together and wrapped in aluminium foil (this prevents light leakage and keeps them moist) 3) A small amount of calmag was added to about 500mL tap water (my tap water is too soft otherwise), and this preparation was poured over the cubes until saturated 4) The foil was then sealed and placed on my wifi router for incubation. 5) The first 3 seedlings emerged after 36 hours, and these were placed under gentle diffused window light

sounds like a true hermie, coming from genes, not stress. It'll throw out and grow balls whatever you do.You can remove balls by hand but there will still be a lot of bananas or sacs that can't be reached.Up to you mate, toss it or keep it but you'll most likely have seeds off other plants too.Quality won't diminish hugely but this one looks like a bad genetic. This is why I hate barneys.I've had stupidly non sense plants from them.Commercial breeders always do this.Mix crap seeds with healthy ones and sell.I'm avoiding barneys.Just keep in mind.

@HighRoller909, thanks mate I appreciate your quick reply. Knowing that it's genetic and not stress related makes me feel better about my gardening haha. But still, I will remove it - I'd rather 4 plants without seeds than 5 plants with seeds.

Did you flower those in the 5.5 to 6.0 ph range? Just wondering as most people flower at 6.0 to 6.5 ph.

@sloppyjohn, your ph range is 5.5 to 6.0 for veg and 6.0 to 6.5 in flower. The higher ph in flower allows for better p and k absorption 6.0 to 6.5 in veg of 5.5 to 5.8 allows for better N uptake. Plants don't need much N in flower. It will pull from the leaves if it needs more N.

@GMSgrows, yeah I did. The literature I read did say to keep it at 5.2-6.2 the whole way through in hydro. What does raising the pH do in flowering?

nice you should fully cure over at least 3 weeks. and then see the high will change it wont turn you melancholic anymore. its because your weed isnt matured enough.
