Excited for this one. My first time getting seeds from exotic. This was a 10 pack, which came with a couple extras, which is nice. That way if you're counting on 10 and 1 or 2 don't germinate for some reason, you still have what you want. Wouldn't you know it, thats what happened too. 2 didn't open. Lets see how these ladies do!
Going into week 2. Looking pretty good so far. I don't like to keep these to damp, but I went in vacation and didn't want them drying out, so they arent looking awesome, but good. Last time I left and didn't water when I left, I killed everything. Also my co2 ran out, and the room ppm was around 130 when I got home. Theyre looking good though. A long painful wait to see how these turn out, but I'm sure it be worth it.
The whole right hand row, and a few others scattered in there. Slowly moving along. New seeds are exciting, but so painfully slowwwww. The Temps have been a bit cooler than I'd like too, which doesn't help. One more set of nodes, and these will be topped. A bit of yellowing on them from to much light, which I already knocked back from 100 to 50 watts. Nothing else to add. Haven't watered or done anything since last time.
I'm going to copy and paste from another batch in with these that had the same issue. These are actually about 6-7 weeks old! Had an issue with something with either my calmag or botanicare grow nute. Everything in my room was yellowing hard which I've never had happen before. I tried a few different things to remedy the situation, and they kept going down hill. So before they a ended up dying, I shook them out of their coco, and stuck them in my homemade cloner and set it up to dwc them, and purchased all new nutes. Theyre still a little stunted, and small, but they've greened back up and are growing again. This happened with 48 new seedlings, as well as some older bigger plants fed with the same stuff in the same room. I'm going to have to let these get up a few more nodes, then re root them to be able to put them back into a pot or basket.
Definitely an improvement over the past couple weeks. Especially 1 plant has really taken off to full recovery. I was going to re root them, and replant them in coco, however I may do that with a few, and just keep some in dwc.
These are doing well. Did the same .akeover as the green crack and aya purple. Some are in this rdwc, and the smaller pickins were cut and re rooted to be able to replant into coco. What a cluster over some bad nutes. Theyre doing ok now. Maybe a week or so, I may clone a fav or 2, and flip em.
Sorry to those who were following. So, I think these are in week 3 of flower. This is a pretty stretchy strain, even in vedge. I like the early coloring in the buds. Thats a sign this is going to be very pretty when finished. The other plants are still in vedge in coco pots getting bigger. I have around 400+ plants going right now, so its been hard getting to all of them and doing this while constantly traveling traveling.
@Polaskis, Thanks. I ran into an unidentified issue with an entire batch of seedlings (approx 50) in which these were included, and could not figure out what had happened. Also with some other ones in the room that were older, bright green and healthy, just stared to fade hard to yellow all at once. As I tried to make corrections, they just further got worse, so I put them into Hanzo ICU before they died lol. I pulled most of them out of the coco, flushed the roots out under RO water, and plugged them into a dwc/cloner setup I made with all different nutes, and they have greened back up, and are slowly recovering. At this point, I may have to let them get tall enough where I can cut, and re root them where they can be put back into coco, or hydroton. I left some freebie strains I dont really care in the same coco, just to see if I could clear them up as well, but its happening much slower. I eliminated to much light, not over watered, no root rot. Always fed calmag, and the only change was going from advanced coco nutes, to botanicare grow. I dont like blaming nutes, and I dont over dose, thats the only common possibility I have found to be the issue. We have another 400+ seedlings that werent fed with that bottle,.... no issues. If I had to guess, it is really really hot, and should be dosed less than 1/4 the recommended dosage.... easily. Especially with seedlings! Im not "experimenting" with it to find out though.
