First week of growth for these seedlings.
We have -
2 x Liberty Haze (Barney’s Farm)
2 x Amnesia Lemon (Barney’s Farm)
1 x OG Cookies Cream CBD (PEV Seeds)
One of the liberty seedlings hasn’t really rooted and taken off properly. Will leave it to see if it gets going, but if not I’ll just pop another.
Nice steady growth on these girls now, got going quickly, except one runt seedling... I’ve popped another as I don’t think it will get going at all... but won’t include it in the diary.
Given a root feed of liquid seaweed at 3ml/L and also foliar feeding at the same ratio. Will start with BioBizz nutes next week.
So far so good.
All 4 plants topped this week at the third node and had their first root feed with BioBizz Bio Grow.
The Bio Grow brought the pH of the 5 litre solution down to around 5pH so used 1ml of pH+ to bring it back up to 6.5pH
Still foliar feeding with liquid seaweed and will continue to do this until a couple of weeks into the flowering cycle.
All four plants are stacking out really nicely now, praying to the light, big thick main stems already... and some of the fan leaves are bigger than my hand.
Going to flip at the end of this week. Would prefer to leave them to veg for a couple weeks longer but time is of the essence!
Still growing well in the 4th week of veg... just struggling a bit with very cold winter temperatures in the outside air making it a bit colder than I’d like in the tent. Feel like this could be slowing things down a little.
Pushing these for another week of veg then will flip the switch!
Really struggling with the cold this week... Absolutely freezing outside and only so much I can do to keep the tent warm during lights off without blasting a load of fan heaters at it... Plants struggling a bit, growing slowly and even wilting over during the dark period.
Weather’s looking warmer for the next week though so hopefully bounce back when I flip the switch and start flowering. Overall not ideal conditions but just the time of year unfortunately.
Removed some lower fan leaves that were huge and starting to fade and probably just leeching nutrients.
First week of flowering... No pics taken this week, didn’t get chance.
Luckily warming up a bit so plants bouncing back from the cold and doing well. Starting to stretch but not much else going on.
Nice progress on these ladies the past week. Stretching out well, early flowers developing and all starting to have a nice aroma.
Following the BioBizz nutrient schedule and all seems to be going well. No signs of any deficiencies and decent growth. Root systems and stems look strong, so hoping this translates into some heavy flower growth.
Not bothering the plants much other than taking off the odd faded leaf here and there.
Looking forward to seeing these girls bulk up over the coming weeks.
Not much to report this week...
Stretch seems to have finished and these girls have just been ticking over nicely. Early flowers starting to spread out with plenty of white pistils.
Next few weeks are when it gets more exciting and we start seeing those buds build up properly.
Flowers really starting to build nicely now as we go into the late stages of flower.
Stepped up the dose of TopMax to the full 4ml/L for this week and next week then will be flushing with water.
Added another fan for better airflow and will try to keep the humidity as low as possible... Always nervous when those buds start getting dense when they’re still wet.
The Liberty Haze has the biggest flower structures at this point but hasn’t taken on much aroma yet... the Amnesia Lemon smells of strong citrus already!
And the OG Cookies Cream just nice and smooth and fruity.
Excited to see these stack over the next couple of weeks.
Been giving these plants just water for the past week... watering lightly every few days and keeping the humidity as low as possible, in the 40-50% range ideally.
The Liberty Haze is the one with the most well stacked buds, smelling of spicy, limey citrus and looking great.
Amnesia Lemon 1 seems to have grown more skunky shaped buds and smells strongly of Lemon, whereas Amnesia Lemon 2 has a more dense and hazey structure to the buds and a more peppery smell, still plenty of lemon zest though.
The OG Cookies Cream CBD has faded with some beautiful dark colours. Doesn’t look as well stacked as the others but still very nice flowers coated in resin and smelling of sweet kushy goodness.
Can’t wait to have these finished, giving them a few more days to a week at the most as I need to get re-stocked!
These ladies are getting the chop!
They could have gone another few days in an ideal world but I need to get them dried and cured so I have some smoke.
More than happy that they’re ready anyway, cloudy trichomes, lovely aromas and some stacked buds.
All faded with the nicest colours I’ve probably had on a grow so far.
Very happy with the results of going organic and using BioBizz nutrients. They’ve been easy to use and the plants have shown no problems or deficiencies the whole way through, even in fairly small pots.
This last week has just involved very light watering with pure water and letting the soil and plants dry out as much as possible before they come down.
Harvest report to come when it’s all dried!
Overall a nice easy strain to grow, responded well to topping and training, grew out nicely with no deficiencies or problems as long as the humidity is kept down in the later stages of flowering.
Enjoyed watching the flowers stack and smelled great whilst growing... just unfortunately wasn’t amazing once cured and wasn’t very ‘hazey’.
Enjoyable to grow but would probably opt for other strains in the future.
Another example of great genetics from Barneys Farm.
Vegged and flowered with no issues at all, really easy to keep happy with the BioBizz nutrients.
Responded positively to topping, recovered quickly and was easily trained to give several main tops which produced nice dense buds.
Enjoyable to grow, even more enjoyable to vape and smoke.
Would definitely choose this one again and would recommend it to anyone who wants a flavoursome and strong haze influenced strain that flowers in less than 9 weeks!
This strain grew nicely with no complaints. Very uniform structure that was easy to maintain and brought several tops of nice tight buds.
Was quite stretchy for a kush strain but easy to train and keep tidy.
No deficiencies with the BioBizz nutrients and no issues with rot later into flower, just have to keep that humidity down. Not yielded as much as I’d hoped but I’m putting this down to using small pots.
Overall a nice strain to grow, interesting balance of THC to CBD and a good one to have in the store for when a lighter smoke is what you want.
