In the last 24-hours all three of my plants have started to show signs of blotchy/irregular colored leaves. When I touch the blotches they are crisp to the touch. I have a really cheap pH meter, and I've been feeding at 6.5 pH. Is this a pH issue?
Hoi!

Hey man! Looking good so far mate. I have just finished up my gelatos and they're currently hanging out to dry, they look and smell beautiful 😍 sure you will have fun with her! Good luck with her and the rest in your mix! Happy Growing dude! 🙃🙂🙃🙂
Very nice! I was just looking over your grow yesterday trying to get an idea of what to expect. Super excited to see how she develops! Best of luck with the rest of drying and curing - hopefully she smokes as good as she looks! 💪
Looking fantastic 👌 spread them girls open and get a bowl frosted cereal in the middle! Good luck and happy growing 🤙in a week or two I'll be chopping down my sour jack and moving the gelato in, I can't wait! How are they smelling?
Looks good to me.😺
I had the same pH experience w/ happyfrog on my GG4 grow - and did same as you are doing to react. I orig watering ~6.6ph in veg and ended up having to bring it down to 6.0-6.3pH through most of flower to keep the pH down. (Runoff was typically 0.4 higher than what went in). Got a little dicey right at the end (was just flushing then so maybe ran out of nutrients in the soil or whatever that last week) and had to increase ph last week.
Love the detailed notes you share.😃
Hey. You think you got enough light for flower? The 600W LED is like 130W actual power draw I think. I grew 2 years ago and plants stretched like crazy (2 plants) when I only had a similar setup.. I've been using the 35-40w(actual) LED watts/sqft formula for flower since then; You think you can keep them packed close enough together or you think a different formula?
@Plexi1000 - Yeah I am trying my best to keep an eye on the pH now - it definitely took me by surprise. pH is still reading a little high so I might lower even more to a ~5.8 pH solution.
Thanks 👻 - I am trying to keep sufficient notes on here so I can refer back to it in future grows if I need to. There's a lot of knowledge and it's fun to experiment with different setups. Thinking about doing some auto flowers next go.
As for my light, I actually don't have the right light indicated on this diary - which I didn't know until you pointed this out, I'll change it now. I am using a Bloom Plus LED with ~320W of actual power draw which puts me at ~40W/ft². I haven't had a harvest yet with this light, but I am hoping it does the trick this first run. So far though this light seems really strong and I haven't been getting much stretch out of the plants at all luckily. Not to mention the plants have seemed to grow very fast.
Happy growing, man! 👽
Check out a guy by the name Harley Smith with npk University I learned alot watching all his classes. Watchin you close! 😁 my gelato are doing nice day 9 or something close.
Nice thanks for the suggestion I'll check him out. The learning process with these plants is never-ending! Just when you think you know what you're doing your plants start throwing a tantrum. Makes it a lot of fun to chase down problems, solve them, and then learn from them. Excited to compare our grow experiences. Take it easy. 👽
Yeah they were freebies! I ordered my seeds right around Christmas and Nirvana sent me a free holiday pack of five unknown feminized seeds. Was quite generous of them. Super stoked to see how they turn out! 😸
Looking good, so glad I found this site, I look forward to cross examination to see potential improvements and things to avoid. Happy growing 😁 I'm 60 hrs in and three are emerging!
Likewise! I've been stalking as many Nirvana grows as I can and they all seem to have super strong genetics from what I can tell. I'll be curious to see how our grows compare! Best of luck to you, man!👽
