NoLimitQ 02/01/21 Soaking in a damp cotton pad. Water - tap water. Put it under the bed in a dark place. The cotton pad is on a plate, the plate is in a bag. 03/01/21 The box is assembled, slightly modified. Testing the temperature - it stays within normal limits (with the humidifier - 22-25 degrees, without it - 25-30 degrees). Overall, here's what we have: a little box measuring about 70*25*70 cm (L*W*H). On the left is the technical compartment: timer, humidity controller, UPS, power supply from the computer for the 12V fans, driver for the LED panel, sockets, exhaust fan. On the right, the grow room is lined with foam foil, the doors are sealed with a gasket: a 20L pot bag, a 3.5L humidifier, a computer cooler for blowing on the plant, LED panel (I assembled it from a lamp that was lying around. Disassembled it, took out the LED strips, and arranged them more compactly). The lamp is based on 2 COB LED chips with lenses, secured with thermal paste to an aluminum cooling radiator, which is blown by a 12V cooler. 05/01/21 Planting in the soil. Pre-watered with about 1.5 liters of water to moisten the dry soil. Loosened the planting area, pushed some soil aside to later add under the cotyledons. The light in the box is on 24/0 for the first while. The humidifier works based on the sensor, set it to 50-60%. Sprayed the planting area with standing tap water, also sprayed the cup that I cover the planting area with. 07/01/21 The seed sprouted about 1 cm, I helped remove the helmet. Sprayed with a spray bottle. 08/01/21 I plan to start watering with nutrients in the 3rd week of the plants' life. Let them eat what’s in the soil for now. Watered a bit with about 50 ml. On January 8, I discovered that one COB chip is not working. Immediately removed the lamp and hung a 105W CFL. In the evening, I ordered the same chip on AliExpress (it's obviously not great, but I grew about 30 g of dry buds on these two 50-watt COB LEDs last summer). Removed the protective cup. 09/01/21 Noticed that after installing the CFL, the temperature in the box rose to 29 degrees, while outside it’s freezing (-15 during the day -20 at night). Spraying with tap water from the spray bottle. Watered about 50 ml on the plant. 10/01/21 Watered a bit with tap water, about 50 ml. Due to the freezing temperatures outside, the temperature in the box settled at 22 degrees. 11/01/21 Sprayed with water from the spray bottle. Checked the box in the evening - the temperature dropped to 19.2 degrees, I turned off the exhaust fan. After a couple of hours, it rose to 27 degrees. 12/01/21 Watering with tap water, standing, about 150 ml. 13/01/21 Sprayed with water from the spray bottle. Tomorrow we will set up the timer, starting the count for veg.
