This time I'm learning that putting young seedlings in old coco full of dying roots is a BAD idea. I've bought a pack of 3, one germinated and died and this 'acid bath', one not germinated at all and this is the last one. And she is a bit of a mutant, or a bit pickier than other strains I've grown 😬
Weird leaves. No idea what's the cause, thinking it might be either low humidity/high temperature/overfeeding/low distance to lights. All of it may present here 😄 Anyways she's getting more normal as she grows and she doesn't look stunned
Being a somewhat compact human being I like compact plants. 3 meters tall sativas are not so handy. This seems to be one of those stretchy girls. I have no plan to shorten her yet, plucking leaves doesn't slow her much but the branches are super unequal. Thinking of topping it after 3rd node and cloning the top.. Not sure
So she's a tall girl as far as I understand now, so I'm bending her down and trying to make lateral branches bigger by doing that also. Not much to share this week, all seem fine
Cut one of the lowest (and smallest) branches for cloning since tiny little clones didn't survive, trying to limit its height, moving to the flowering tent at the end of the next week most likely
I'm punching whiteflies with my hands :-D Spreading the branches from time to time, bending the soft parts of the branches. I didn't prune some of the lower bud places, might pluck it later for cloning but it doesn't root well, two clones died since were too small and one is scrouged
She's one week behind white lemon, buds are finally forming. I'm training in flower, not sure how bad is that. Also moved around the tent a bit and put under the led that is a bit higher.
Whiteflies prefer white lemon to this lady, still lots of them around, yellow sticky traps don't seem to help a lot, ordered some natural predators called "Encarsia formosa". Those little wasps are supposed to eat all of the whiteflies and die after
Same issues all over my punky garden, whiteflies here and there, and nutrition issues from time to time, haha. Reservoir change on day 5. Don't see seeds yet, tried to pollinate the same bud again
Seem to be better after the reservoir change. Whiteflies are still here, little wasps seem all to die or I don't know, at least I don't see lots of them. Though I have a spidey there also and probably not only one.
She's super sour already, smelling pure vitamin c.
Killing whiteflies by hand, those little wasps turned out to be useless, I don't see any black, infested larvae. Looks suspiciously ready for the crop, but I'm waiting.
Tasty and strong! Gets me high and energizes first, then turns a bit drunk-like stoned. Smells like Vitamin C dropped in dirt, earthy notes comes up when vaping/smoking. Didn't get it completely, will try more
Looking at these latest pictures I would definitely get some cal mag for this or your next run. You can see some leaves have yellowing in between the veins which is a text book example of a magnesium deficiency. Don’t get me wrong brother it’s not that bad but I think you will definitely have a easier time using some cal mag👍 Looking good though and look forward to the next update
@Esoteric_growing, hey man I'm always glad to hear any advice from you, no worries, I appreciate your guidance 😁 I've changed the solution in the reservoir this week completely, that's what I was hesitating to do for too long, I'll probably buy calmag a bit later and am guessing that the fresh solution will fix the issue, let's see how the week goes. I'm also doing timelapses and watching how they grow scrolling the video back and forth, right after I changed the water white lemon buds kinda exploded in growth :-D
Top work as usual brother, anything with kosher kush as a parent tends to be some real strong weed. I grew the chocolope kush and that was a real heavy hitter lol
@Secretflower, since 2021 I have a small rosin press and this is the output of pressing some of the ice-o-lator made of trim :) Not the best quality though I think, but still the best use of trim leaves in my opinion
