Hi!
This time I just created a CBD let's say more THC oil.....
I used extra virgin, raw cold pressed organic coconut oil /Sti Lanka/.
As it is in the diary's name it is a mixture of 11 different strains trimmings and 12 different strain flowers......
So trimmings used from my previous harvests (kept in the freezer leaves some flowers and stalks stemps.....)

I did some decarboxylation placed the trimmings in the oven a bit longer because of the water content.
I kept there approx an hour set to be 110 Celsius degrees.
After I did the same with the flower mix.
I melted the coconut oil and just made a "bay marie" because the oil temperature went up too high over 118 Celsius and I didn't want the THC to be degraded.
I put the decarboxylated trimmings and flowers in the melted coconut oil...
I constantly stirred like every 30 min... and kept checking the temperature as well.....
I managed to leave it on the stove without the "bay marie" method so I was able to keep the temperature 118 Celsius under....
After 4 hours it was done.
I waited to cool it down and then strained off (clarified) by using a cheesecloth...
It was nice dark and then I just placed it to be in the fridge overnight but I will take it back to room temperature so it will be liquidy again :)
That's all I think.....

I am glad to see that it is posible to use all parts to make oil.
I would like to make some CBD oil, from my Kompolti hemp, this year for the first time in my life.

You allow me to ask a few questions:
1) For what reason you do the decarboxylation ?
2) I have a big jar with "trim" (mostly is pop-up buds) but still not bad. How do I know how much oil I need?
3) would you recommend that for a PD? I know one he have PD and always use the oil. But now he not get that anymore and ask me.

@IronGrower, First of all I am sorry for late reply somehow I didn't see the post.
Let me answer then now.
Question 1: The reason is that basically it is going to be more potent. As per we know THC needs fat/oil to be able to soluble and yes oil itself is okay even without decarboxylation but this way it is 100% sure that you will maximise the outcome and the potency.
It is not necessary to do but recommended.
Question 2: Well it depends on your personal needs.
Firstly, you may need to know how strong you want it to be. If you have trimmings no flowers do not count for potency as the leaves and stam has very low THC content.
The basic idea is that you use 15-25 g clean flowers per 250ml oil and double if 500ml so on. The trimmings are extra.
But let's say you have got a Jar of trimmings then I would go for 250ml oil on that case. So basically it won't be strong effect oil but more health conscious.
Question 3: Parcinson Disease? Well, I am notna doctor or even a scientist but it has someting to do with abnormal brain activity or function. I beleive it can improve (depends on the person) i am pretty sure it won't make worse so why not give it a go?
Just one more thing. I assume if you want to do it then add flowers more THC might have the secret for this secret but yes CBD content would be important as well. We shoul look into articles and experiments how cannabis impact on PD and what the experiments show.
I would try nothing really to loose natural remedy not synthetic and it ain't worse the things.
It really might provide significant results.

Well you made me curious so just looked into it some articles based on United States studies and it shoes positive result as it lowers the symptoms. Go for it and take that daily spoon let's see what changes.
I make a very similiar oil using Xtra virgin coconut oil too and let me tell you it can be very potent!!

@Ferenc, that's sounds great. Last summer i mixed my extract with honey, but the extract did not completely dissolve, and the final product tasted a little bitter. but I really liked it, I also took 1x rice-size drop every other day in the morning
@NONSENSE, Thanks! Yes, actually it is really tasty and I do use day by day in the mornings dropping in my mouth. I haven't taken a big dose yet but my friend has and said cool ;)
