Did some definition this week, the Purp was getting very bushy. The canopy is starting to fill in pretty nice and its officially week 4 of veg. The runtz is over a foot tall and its actually taller but I bent the main stem back in the 2nd or 3rd weeks after planting. The runtz is fed almost every day now (1-1.5L) while the GDP is comfortable with water every 2-3 days (1L). Letting the side branches grow up now to meet the SCROG and will flip them in another 2 weeks. The 90 degree bends I use are very useful, once the plant augments back upward simple remove the bend from the previous location and bend it again so it goes East and West. I have not used my plant ties yet and don't think I need it
@GanjaBianca, I'll try and post more but its seems very thirsty and temperamental about 2-3hrs before lights out the leaves droop then when I check them at lights on its all perky again
I've seen em cut a flap at the top of the tent and raise the light, ๐ lookin good! GL ๐ค
Another cool method to get them opened up and even, I poke holes on the side of the pot and tie down each individual branch with pipe cleaners. And when they're tall I use foot long wood skewers for leverage.
@Kloud9gardenz, 1st world problem for sure ๐ hate it when my plants are to big. I did, I turned my inline fan around to blow through the filter now instead of having it taking up space inside the tent I have my filter in the attic. I just started growing in October for the first time and I definitely learned a lot of what not to do too ๐ happy growing!
@Thumbnail83, yeah I definitely didn't LST this the way I should've but its a learning experience. I've got the lights at the max height in the 4x2x5 and the plant has stretched to 2ft tall. I'm praying it stops stretching otherwise I'll have to move the filter outside of the tent for more space
@DTaro, i like them tbh, I have the ties and never had to use it BC with the bends you just keep bending the branch as far as you want it to go then let it grow up. I'm uploading the new photos soon it should give a better view
