Put seed in glass of warm water for 12 hours. Then planted in the soilless mix. 3 Days later the plant sprouted above the surface.
Lights 20 On- 4 Off.
Medium was wetted to saturation with PH'd tap water before seed was planted. 6.3 PH- 165 ppm.
First feeding on day 8. I will be watering with nutes and plain PH's tap water every other watering as required by the dryness of the soilless mix. Watering until about 10% runoff each time.
Current lighting: mix of LED & CFL- total wattage 71 watts.
So far so good. We have female preflowers!! 😊 I gave 2nd nutrient feeding this week. I was going to LST this plant but the main stem is very rigid. I think that it would snap if I bent it. Maybe I left it too long to LST.
I LST'd on Day 22. Seven days later on Day 29 she is looking pretty good. It is my first LST. It was a little nerve-wrecking bending the stem over. I thought that it might break....but it didn't 😊 I had to trim a lot of fan leaves off to allow light to bud shoots. Please leave a comment if you have LST suggestions. it is my first try.
50 Days
Cruisin' right along...I have managed to keep it all green so far. Usually by this time I have some yellow leaves showing up. Definitely full into flowering, buds developing everywhere. I have been defoliating a little. I get a little nervous cutting leaves off, not a lot of experience with defoliating...do you think that it could use some more defoliating? So far I am very happy with how this plant is turning out. I don't want to screw it up now
I have noticed that the top leaves are fading a bit in color when compared to the lower leaves. Not sure if it is a concern or not but I'll keep my eye on it. The buds are filling in a bit. Looking pretty good I think. And she's smells wonderful , carbon filter system on full.
Things are starting to go a little sideways. The plant leaves are yellowing. At the bottom it looks like Nitrogen deficiency (normal at this point) but the top leaves are also yellowing. Leaves also have burnt tips. My runoff PH has been steady at 6.3. I can understand the yellowing bottom leaves but not so much on the top leaves. Could it be Nitrogen def. as well? I am not too worried but I am hoping the buds will still fatten up. Crash helmet on, seat belt fastened, we'll get to the finish line but it might not be too pretty.
She is looking a little rough. I think the temperature got a little but too high for a little bit too long. Pretty much all leaves are yellowing. A few good things...the burnt leaf tips are not getting worse. She is still drinking up the water and feed. Buds are getting fat 😊. And she stinks...when I say she stinks, I mean that she smells wonderful 😍
All things considered at this point she's not looking too bad. There are a pretty even mix of clear and cloudy trichs with a few ambers showing as well. Her days are numbered. I think she'll go another week to 10 days. The smell coming off of this plant is incredible. I have 2 carbon filters going full tilt. Cheers!
This was a great plant to grow. It responded well to my first LST. I got a very good amount of decent sized buds. After cure, this strain smells delicious. Buds look great and are of hard density. The smoke is very, very good. I am very happy that I grew this strain. I would grow again.

Good evening Canadian_Jeff, I saw your post today asking about the Muffin mans Mistress strain. I myself have been looking for info as well. Were you looking because you wanted to find more seeds?
@TandS, Thanks for replying to my post!! I wasn't even sure if anyone could see it. I think the grow that I posted that too was deleted. No matter, thanks again. Not so much wanting more of the seeds but rather just some info on the breeder. I could find little to nothing about them on the web. I figured that they must be fairly local to me and new. Honestly, being a newer strain I just thought that the breeder may like to see the photos I took of the tree I grew of it last summer. I think I could get some more seeds at the same place but I sure do appreciate you reaching out.
When doing you LST your doing it right just when bending stem take you time and always work your way down before trying to bend the bottom end over like a warm up to exercise... plant yoga
