After a couple weeks growth i will top her then take cuttings to clone up and transfer into my hydroponics nft system.. Took 2 cuttings from her today and placed them into small rockwool cubes in propagation box.. Passed on the mother plant and just keeping an eye on the clones and waiting patiently for some roots to show thru cubes.. Expecting them any day now so will hopefully have them in 4inch cubes by nxt wks update.. 🤞😁 -Last 2 pics were just taken today and they both just started rooting!!.. Transferred them into 4inch rockwool cubes and all is goin well with them.. Both have roots showing so will keep them from drying out and give them regular feeds and regular plain phd water all @5.6-5.8..girls are looking around another 3-4wks until they go into hydro so it will keep me busy when they get bigger and drinking more.. 😁👍 Huge thanks to you all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. Guna try use this time to top and train the girls up n get them to fill out a bit.. Got about 2wks till these girls are transferred into NFT trays.. Had a fixture drop and lean against both girls, luckily no major damage was done and they perked bk up pretty quickly.. Still giving them feeds every other day with all water or solutions with set ph5.6 - 5.8.. No change to feeding/watering regime and they both just requiring a little more(about 100ml extra each day).. Both girls have been transferred into the NFT tray and look like they're enjoying their new home.. Think they was getting a bit desperate for the space tbh.. Running pumps(air and res) 24/7 with hps @400w and both leds on for 14hrs (off for 10hrs) for at least 7days then assess increasing feed or light intensity.. Really looking forward to watching these girls grow out and and this is my first run of any ETS photoperiod dependant strain.. 😁👍 Huge thanks to you all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. Hello and welcome to u all.. Hope you are all well and having a good day.. 😊👍 First weeks growth for my 2x "Candyland" clones from Emerald Triangle Seeds has had a change from the usual routine.. I put the lights on 14hrs originally but after a few days I saw the girls were trying to go into preflower(i want more growth in first 2 weeks) so i flipped lights bk to 18hrs and powered hps to 250w.. Gave them both a big defol today and took away most shoots on all branches close to main stem.. Im in 2 minds how to train them now but im guna give them another week @18hrs then flip to 12/12..😁👍 Huge thanks to you all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. I decided to flip the lights to 12/12 on 31/3/21 and gave the res tank a top up with bloom based feeds today.. Switched the hps lamp upto 400w and did a very loose mainline/lollipop on each branch.. Bit of mixed height on these girls but im very happy now they've started to show signs of preflowering.. Just been topping the res up every 2-3days with fresh nutes/additives and keeping check on ph.. No major issues and girls looking healthy.. Looking forward to seeing how they develop in the next few weeks.. Weather has been random all week and we had a hot few days and the girls drank lots of water leaving a raised ppm in the res tank.. pH was still in safety zone so i just topped her res up with plain pH'd water at [email protected] until i had a lower ppm reading.. She showed a couple of fan leaves with overfeeding but just checking with meters everyday helps to maintain safe levels.. Both girls starting to produce trichomes now and getting a slightly sweet skunky smell when open the tent.. Turned hps light upto 600W now and will b checking her everyday for any changes.. 😁👍 Huge thanks to you all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. Girl's had a big drink this week and left a high ppm of about 1400 which is way to early and left obvious signs of burn on a few fan leaves.. I simply topped up the res with plain pH'd water to dilute the ppm bk to 1200.. Topped up today and added calmag/terpinator to the mix but lowered the initial A&B base nutrition to compensate for this weeks spike and even out the mineral content.. Apart from that you can see the trichomes she's building up and the smell coming from her is very sweet and moreish!!.. Around the half way mark through bloom now so will keep an eye out for any more spikes and keep her in a healthier zone without pushing them too much.. 😁👍 Huge amount of thanks to you all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. These beautiful girls are just past the halfway stage of blooming and are covered in frosty trichomes!!.. Very sweet cookie, fruity aromatic scents are in full effect atm.. Ive held back on the main feeds again this week as right clone is in a recovery from over feeding but both are still getting fatter and putting on weight! .. Both girls seem to be drinking and feeding ok now and i gave them both a slight defol from top to bottom on each plant.. Will see how they both look in a few days before deciding if to ramp up the nutrition again, or not.. 😁👍 Huge amount of thanks to you all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. Left plant is getting fatter and right plants getting taller🤣.. Unfortunately I noticed a little immature seed developing on one of her flowers so i pulled it off and had agood check over her.. Couldn't find any more potential seed sites but I will keep in mind when grinding her up.. Its most likely caused by the unnecessary stress i have put her through in all fairness!.. I decided to give them an early harvesting time than planned so emptied res and filled with just pk boosters/finishers(data in nxt wks upload) .. Will keep them on this diet until nxt week then empty res again and fill with plain pH'd water to flush her out.. 😁👍 Huge thanks to you all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. Hello and welcome to you all.. Hope you are all well and having a good day.. 😁👍 Final weeks growth for my 2 "Candyland" clones from Emerald Triangle Seeds.. Its been a real pleasure to grow these plants and i have learnt they "dont" favor heavy feeding patterns.. Empty out the res today and filled with plain pH adjusted water to flush her through.. I have a few more seeds of this strain so will definitely keep them safe and rerun her again one day on a lower feed base.. They almost look like 2 completely Phenotypes but the girl on right has just been hit hard with lockout last few weeks.. Shame really because she would of been HUGE, but my own fault as i should of gone lighter on the feeding and intervened sooner.. Enjoying, and learning is what trying new strains is all about for me.. She smells beautiful and sweet.. Will be harvested this weekend coming(bit earlier than expected) but after quick check with loop shes mostly cloudy trichs with couple of clear shrooms still and very few amber heads so just winging it tbh for an even smoke from her.. 🤞😁 Great big thanks to u all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. These girls have been a treat to grow and always nice to experience new strains.. Took them down on Saturday and wet trimmed them both and kept them separate to see uf theirs any flavour/high quality difference on the right plant that i gave nute lock-out(her conditions wasn't great for to long a period).. As u can see from the pictures she still looks very juicy and I'll know better when she's ready for curing.. Tbh i think she'll be a good smoke still, just didn't get to explode like her sister.. Full harvest report in about 2 wks after its all hung dry and boxed for day or 2 before jaring up.. 😁👍 Huge amount of thanks to you all for your support, comments, follows and likes.. EMERALD TRIANGLE SEEDS CANDYLAND Genetics - Grandaddy Purple x Platinum Girl Scout Cookies Indica / Sativa - 30% / 70% Harvest late Sept/early Oct Ratio - CBD 1% – THC 22% Flavor - Earthy, Sweet Good for - ADHD, Appetite stimulation, Bipolar, Chronic pain, Insomnia, Migraine, Relaxation Very nice strain from ETS.. Very simple throughout grow and didn't require loads of food.. Harvested around the 8th week of bloom, almost looks like 2 different phenotypes but they taste and last exactly the same.. The sativa looking clone ended up having lock-out on last few weeks when i tried to push them to far.. All in all a very pleasant smoke with sweet creamy tones which gives a nice tickle on the throat on the exhale.. Not my best yeilder but I'm positive if i ran her again i could improve.. Very sticky,pretty dense flowers which grind up nice and fluffy.. I found a pre-seed a few weeks bk now (cant remember the week, but logged it), but the wife nor myself have found anymore and we've got through a bit already so that is great for us.. My 1st photoperiodic strain from Emerald Triangle Seeds and im extremely pleased with the results..
