ok guys im super excited to get this Tangie going. I have heard its one of fastbuds best smokes and grows equally well so lets see what we can do with her in the autopot system!
ok guys today is day 15 and the Tangie is looking nice. she is looking indica dominate by the look of her being squat and bushy. Once a week i will give them a plain Recharge and mammoth P feeding pH'd to 5.8-6.0 depending on veg/flower.
ok guys so its day 21 for the Tangie girl and it seems she is indica dominant with her short stocky stature and fat fingered fan leaves.she has also show sex today so the vertical growth should pick up this week. I have yet to turn on the Autopot system but should be doing that in the next couple days, i just want to make sure they are ready for the system and i dont want to rush it. i have also upped her feeds this week and she still looks kinda hungry but i will keep it at this level for a little bit more.
Ok guys so today is day 28 and the tangie is starting her stretch and filling out nicely. im also LST'ing the side branches to open that bushy girl up and get some light in there. she remains very lush and bushy but i bet she will turn out to be a nice size once the stretch is over.I have turned on the Autopot system and she is drinking from the Rez now. Feeds were upped this week also.
ok guys so im pretty sure i messed this grow up with the peat in my substrate. im not too happy about it but im gona try to do what i can here once flower kicks in and get these buds the size of soda cans. The autopot system isnt feeding them properly and its really showing in this grow. this is 100% my fault due to running a new system and the learning curve that comes with it. my plan is to do my best with her and get it right the next run with the Autopots.
ok guys so my grow conditions and the peat in my substrate has crippled this grow and im not gonna get the monster plant i wanted but i know i will still get Grade A Smoke off these girls so lets see what we can do in flower. I have switched to bloom nutes as of today so bring on the buds!
OK guys so we are now in full bloom and im just trying to put on as much weight on these girls as possible. i am seeing some calcium and magnesium deficiencies so i have upped my levels of calmag so lets see how they react.
ok guys so the tangie is starting to wrap up and the smell is Delicious!!! like a ripe orange peel with some pine/canna!
her buds are solid as rocks and im sure will gunk up and clog up my grinder here soon!
ok guys so im thinking about 1 more week on the tangie then i can get it out of the way and try another. i hear that tangie is the best strain that fastbuds offers so im gonna get this next grow right if it kills me!
ok guys so the tangie has been flushing for a couple days now and will be harvested this week. even with my multiple problems in this grow the Tangie still gave up the goods!
ok guys so about the tangie and its high/stone its a very nice hybrid in my eyes. i have seen 2 phenos and i had the more indica pheno. very nice smell of citrus and pine/skunk/earth. i have another 2 going in a new diary and am hoping to get to grow out the other pheno also🙌
ok guys so this grow went terrible due to my error on substrate choice. lesson learned thpough.. i was still able to pull 71 grams from the tangie though so its not a complete loss. i have already started another tangie journal on here and they are doing great! so check that grow out here on grow diaries1329
@Tripaholic88,thanks bro!!! I'm buying peat substrate soil mix with correct PH 5.5 -6.5. in my case there was no PH problems thats the rude.i guess its bad genetics,F2 or F3 seeds (( thay are only one breeders who selling seed in my country. but we fight for legalization ))
@Weedeep, yeah the peat's pH is too low for Cannabis and you are experiencing nutrient lockout like i did in this grow when i used peat. maybe try feeding higher pH to get the pH to raise. or actually i would try flushing the soil to help correct pH. ( im a coco grower and thats how i would do it in Pro-Mix HP as well which is a peat based soil-less mix i believe)
@Tripaholic88, so sad, i'm running now 2 strains in peat substrate , name is Universal peat substrate, with Ph 5.5-6.5. I mixed there some perlit an i like it, off its very airy mass. But at the week 3-4 in flower, all leafs start to yelowing tooo fast, tniknits is for peat substrat? Sorry for my english, one more question, what kine a problems you got with peat?
I see you have terpinator under your nutes but don't see it on your feed schedule, have you used it with autos? I got some and feel as tho autos lives are too short for it to really build those terpes. How do you like it?
@Hansbud, i must have forgot to add it in the grow on here but i do use it EVERY grow and i usually start using it around day 35. i really like the product and i think it does well in my autos. i dont grow Photoperiod, Autos only brotha👌
Awesome Trip, I have 3 tangie girls from fast buds a few days ahead of yours. It will be awesome to compare an identical strain with one of the growers from this site who get great results (you, of course)...following for sure!!
@Ripper, im not happy at all with my autopot system and my choice of substrate for it.. im growing this strain again as soon as the autopot system is empty!
