Mixed tent

Well there still alive lol. Having them starting off in my front shed with just a light and a heat mat in the middle of winter has me pretty nervous that they won't make it but so far so good. Its been getting really cold at night but so far there looking good. The canuk grandaddy black and the Barnes farm runtz muffins so far are looking the best. Tents still a few weeks out before I can move them but im watching them closely. Happy growing everyone.

Had a bitnof a hiccup at the start of the week. Because of the low temperatures outside (1c-4c at night) I decided to start running the light 24/0, what I forgot to calculate was the rapid decrease in Humidity from the heat. 2 days after I switched it I walked into the room and it felt like a desert in there. Humidity had dropped to 28%.... so I hooked up my little humidifier and got the Humidity back up to 42-46%. I also hooked up a mini tower fan for some wind to help strengthen up the plants and to increase air circulation. The plants are doing good. The runtz muffin is the nicest looking of the 4 so far. The grandaddy black has a lot of stretch to it compared to the others. The pineapple kush and old school are both short plants so far but have great spacing between nodes. Hoping to have them in there new home in the next weekish.... well see Happy growing everyone.

So they all got moved to there new home in the 3x2 tent today. After doing so I noticed that the soil was a bit dryer then I like. Probably from me switching on the cobb lights at night to help battle the temp drop at night (been hitting -10c at night outside and 13c in the room with the veg light on only). But with the cobb lights on its been getting up to 26.5c in the room and I forgot to water them yesterday.... so the old school and the pineapple kush plants both looked a little drippy. Gave all 4 a really good watering with 1ml of Miicrobial mass in 2L of water. In the new tent there under a Spider-Farmer SF-2000 and ive got it hung up high for the plants to grow too. Was a good week. Plants were put into there fabric pots, and had some training done. Runtz muffins got topped and is currently standing at 10 inchs. Grandaddy black also got topped and is at 11 inchs. Old School got FIMed and is just braking the 7 inch mark. Pineapple kush also got FIMed but is the shortest plant in the tent at 6 inchs. I'm probably only going to give then a few more days before I flip them. I don't want to end up out growing my tent like I almost did last time lol. Want to keep them all under the 3ft mark so we'll see. Happy growing everyone.

So today is the last day of veg and tomorrow we'll be the first day of flower. Runtz muffins - it's standing at 15 inchs and got topped at the beginning of the week Grandaddy Black - she's the giant of the tent at 17 inchs, and she has a lot more tops then all the others. Have a feeling she's going to tell the other plants that shes now the captain of this tent. Pineapple kush and old school - both are just over a foot and have just been getting FIMed. Really hoping then when I switch to flower tjat they might jump in size like of few other plants ive done but im not going to get my hopes up. Last grow in this tent I did 5 plants in 3gal fabric pots and had a few issues. Next growni might drop it down to 3 plants. Well that's all so far so happy growing everyone.

So were at the end of week one for flower and all the plants are looking great. Over the last week my pineapple kush and old school started growing a bit faster. I'm hoping that by the end of this week I'll be able to take them off the wooden box and still have my even canopy. Well see. Grandaddy Black- she's at 22" rite now and there is a lot of possible main Cole locations Runtz muffins- 22" and not as many as the Grandaddy Black but the plant looks very healthy Pineapple kush and Old School - both are at 17" only got FIMed a few times so they have no where near as many main Cole spots but look really healthy. All and all a good week with lots of growth Happy growing everyone.

So second week went by really good. Plants had lots of growth and are looking extremely healthy. Only issue I had during the week was my pineapple kush plant fell of its stand for a few hours. I tried just removing there stand that the old school and pineapple kush are on but the two other plants made them disappear. So got a different stand for them thats a lot bigger and it looks like it's working great. Grandaddy Black is at 29" and the buds are showing a bit of color now Runtz muffins is at 30" and has some massive leafs on it. Pineapple kush is the runt of the tent at 23" Old school is just a bit bigger at 24" but she has a lot of lower development going on. Plan on doing a big leaf strip sometime in the next few days and setting up some support for the branchs for there later development. Well that's all fokes, happy growing

So this is how the last week has gone down. Day.1 I removed the plants from the tent, cleaned it, and then did a massive leaf strip on all my plants. After that I added more cley pebbles to the top of the pots. Day.2 I built the bamboo trails system around all 4 plants with 2 sections. The lower one to act as a marker for where to lolipop to. And the top one to hold the plants upright and to attach the plants to if they start to out grow my space. Little bend here or there won't kill it. Day.4 After giving them a few days I lolilpoped the lower sections of the plants and sprayed them all down with lost coast plant therapy. So far there looking great, lots of the leafs have grown back and the buds are really starting to take off. I also started adding bud factory X to the feeding plan. Grandaddy black - 34" Runtz Muffins- 37" Old School- 28" Pineapple Kush- 27" Well that's it for this update. Happy growing everyone.

Spent a week away from my plants and had my 68 year old mother watching my plants while I went camping with my family. She's old school and has been around plants longer then I've been on this earth, but still I was nervous as fuck. Luckily I came home to plants that were still thriving lol. Didn't get a chance to get the plant measurements but there all still looking awesome. The smell has increased a lot since I've been gone, very skunky now. Happy growing everyone.

So I noticed after my last post that the pots were feeling a bit heavier then usual. At first I just figured it was from a increase in the roots but then the next day I realized that my mom had used all the feed that was in my 30L resivore in 4 days.... that's roughly 8 cups of water per plant per day. Twice as much as I usually give them... I told her they needed 4 cups each a day and she thought the measuring cup I used was 1 cup, not 2.... soooo I had to let the dry out a bit. So instead of watering them every 24 hours I did it every 28 hours and I gave them 2 cups each instead of 4. After 3 days of doing this I noticed that the pots weren't feeling as heavy and the musty smell was gone.... Oh the joys of having to get someone to watch your girls when you have a unexpected trip come up.... Next to that shenanigans everything else looks to be going smoothly. The Pineapple Kush, Old school and Grandaddy black all have great stacking going on and some nice color. The Runtz Muffins on the other hand I'm unsure of. Not much stacking going on but the buds look frosty as hell. They haven't grow much at all the last few days and I think that's from the over watering that they got. And that's not necessarily a bad thing lol the runtz were starting to get a little to close the the light. Also gave them a Shuffle and added a bigger fan to the tent. Also redid all the bamboo so that if I need to pull them out of the tent again for whatever reason, it'll be a lot easier. The plants in here unfortunately have a deadline and need to be done in 2-3 weeks because my temperature switch and sf2000 light are needed for my 4x4 tent for my brain cake run. I might be able to get away with leaving them up for a few extra days but not many. Everything in my place needs to be done by the middle of June before I put my house on the market and move to a bigger place with more space to grow. Well happy growing everyone.

So on Wednesday I scoped the top section and a few lower section buds and was surprised on how much amber trenchomes I found. Usually I'm starting to see milky ones but this timeni noticed that both the Grandaddy Black and Runtz Muffin already have a solid amount of them, the pineapple kush had a few but the Old school just had milky trenchomes. I went to check them again today and my scope broke.... so I had to order a new one and hope it'll be here tomorrow, like to get some pics of them. Next to that the plants have been looking good. Unfortunately the Runtz and the Pineapple both have only a small amount of bud so I don't see them having very big yeilds. The Old School and Grandaddy Black on the other hand look like there going to have a decent yeild. Well happy growing everyone.

So this week has been a nightmare with temperature and humidity. We got hit with a bit of a heatwave out of nowhere and the temperature and humidity in the tent went to hell. The tent has gotten as hot as 28.5c at a few points and I would open up the tent and turn the fan up to help as much as I could. With the humidity it's dropped all the way down to 25% a few times and the highest I've been able to get it back up to during lights on is roughly 38%. This was the last week before I start flushing and I've also swapping out the spider farmer SF-2000 for one of my veg lights. Itll help decrease the temperature but also from what ive read it can make a difference on the end product by increasing turp profile, increasing taste, smell and potency. So figured what's the worst that could happen right? Well happy growing everyone.

Started flushing the plants last saturday. They well be getting chopped down today at some point today and put through bud wash before I hang dry them. Unfortunately I don't know how good this crop is going to be as it looks like the pineapple kush plant that was small and not really doing much turned hermaphrodite at some point and I didn't notice and the other 4 plants have seeds. It sucks but it is what it is. Should have thrown that plant out during week 2 of flower and tried to save it and got pinched in the ass for it. Live and learn. Happy growing everyone.

Growing this plant was fun up to harvest. The second I noticed the seeds during harvest the wind got sucked out of my sails and disappointment set in. Now out of all 4 plants this one has the fewest seeds by far but still enough to feel like a failed grow.

Just like the runtz this had some seeds in it but not a lot. It's unfortunate because everything I've grown and smoked of ripper seeds so far has been really good and was looking forward to this plant. Is what it is tho

Man this was a nice plant to grow. Had a great canopy and was just absolutely beautiful. But then one of my plants had to go and turned herm on me. Not many seeds so far in it but still shitty. Also let it dry out for to long and feel like I lost more weight from it then I should have.

This was a very disappointing grow. First time using royal queen seeds and the plant was a dud from the start. Sprouted last, grew slow, and was the shortest plant by far.
