Hello GrowDiaries Friends,
Unfortunately I was in a car accident last week. I shattered my heal bone (calcaneus), fractured my face and tore open the side of my face around my eye. I’ve had a few surgeries to put things back in place and I’m feeling better each day.
However, my injuries prevent me from caring for my plants personally. One of my best friends (who is also a grower) has been helping with feeding the girls and my wife has been pitching in with waterings also. All of my plants are still doing well, but its too much to ask for them to take pics and videos as I would normally do to update my diaries.
I’ll be off my feet for at least 2 months, but I do plan on updating my diaries as I can. Which will probably be mostly harvest reports. I’ll miss taking care of my plants and doing more GD updates for now, but I’ll be back!!!
@sslippinjimmy, sorry I missed this question several months ago, But thank you to @Deranged420 for answering. At the time of this diary I had a V300 and a V300R both in the same tent, so 256 watts for both fixtures. The V300R has more reds and is supposed to be better for flowering but Viparspectra still says both are good for veg through flower. Personally, I find the reds from the V300R harsher on my eyes and also it seems too strong for young seedlings/clones. If I could do it again, I wish I bought 2 V300's with more of an overall spectrum. But that's because I'm flowering under HPS now and using the LED's for mothers, clones, seedlings and veg.
@sslippinjimmy, I have 2 300w LED’s from Viparspectra. One is a V300 and the other is a R300. They say they are both full spectrum and can both be used for veg and flower. But the R300 has more reds for better flowering. I don’t think they actually draw 300w of power, but I don’t know what the actual power draw is.
@Deranged420, Wow, thanks for commenting on this post. I haven't looked back at these pics in a while. I have to say I'm pretty impressed with the Seedsman strains overall. Great strains at great prices. I did have some that took a little longer to switch to flower, but were worth the wait in the end. Good luck with yours!
looks nice, almost identical to mine two weeks back, u do a better job cleaning up the nasty leafs at the bottom tho, just did mine today and still doesn't look like yours lol
