Super excited to start this. I finally got myself a quality light, thanks to Viparspectra and their New Years Giveaway. Never grown under Samsung Boards and HLG drivers. Everyone is saying that ethos genetics are great. So i decided to try it out. This Skunk Hero should be great. Stay tuned for progress updates.

Excited to try Dutch Science nutrients. Has anyone tried it before? Seems easier than mixing multiple liquid bottles.

It is one bag/nutes for growing and the other bag/nutes are for bloom. No mixing. Super simple. Regards, Organoman.

Thank you very much for the advice. Ive never used dry nutes before. These are 100% organic. Only one bag for veg and a different one for bloom. Switch bag with the light cycle switch. Sounds easy so I'm looking forward to it. Thanks again for replying.

I'll be using the doubled starter pot method for easy transplanting. Starter pot on a seedling mat with a humidity dome for the next few days. Then on to the grow tent.

Seeds do not need high humidity, but fungus and moulds love it. Seeds also need an adequate oxygen supply, something they won't get trapped in a sweat lodge. Only cuttings/clones need artificial humidity levels due to not having any roots. As soon as the seed germinates, a root starts growing. This root supplies the rest of the seedling with all of its water requirements, making the use of a "humidity dome" redundant and using one just increases the risk of your seeds rotting or being attacked/eaten by fungus. Cannabis has been growing wild for hundreds of thousands of years on its own and without artificial and needless excess humidity. And no, cannabis did not evolve in jungles or rain forests, but in places like Afghanistan and Pakistan, countries not known for humid climates. Give your seeds free access to oxygen, they need it as part of the germination process and will not have a chance to get as much as they want/need, trapped under a "humidity dome", which is a very outdated and misguided myth. Regards,... Organoman.

Skunk Hero seed is in the soil. I have a DIY humidity dome made from a gallon water jug. I'm a huge fan of using repurposed things or just DIY in general. I have a seedling heating pad underneath for warmth and to produce needed humidity. Stay tuned for regular updates.

Hi !

Skunk Hero is growing fast. This happened today. 6:00am, 4:00pm, then the last picture at 11:00pm. This has sprouted faster than any genetics i have grown.

Everything is looking good. I'll give the roots a few more days to grow, before transplanting it into the SuperRoots Air-Pot #3. This is a photoperiod, so i will be topping it at least twice. Already have my soil in the pot and ready. Amended ahead of time with Unsulphured molasses and Great White. Happy Frog soil and Black and Gold organic perlite mixed at a ratio of 3/1. Happy Growing everyone!!!

Plant had a slow seedling stage. Temps got low at night a couple times and slowed it down a little. But now it's thriving. Topped it and now the lateral branches have really started shooting out. I will say though, ive never had a plant with leaves this big. Would this be considered a "broad leaf"? Thanks and happy growing to all!🍀

Showing sex at week 4. I'm really impressed with the secondary lateral branching. So much that I dont think i will top it anymore. That'll just create more coverage for the lower stuff. I usually scrog or lst, but this time i want to just top and defoliate.

Gave her a good defoliation. After a couple days of recovery, I'll be changing the light cycle to 12/12. So far I'm impressed with the Vipar XS1500 and Dutch Science nutrients combination.

Hello everyone. Exciting times over here! Flipped the light cycle today, so I'm excited to watch the buds stack on this one! Since switching to Bloom Baby Bloom by Dutch Science Nutrients, I haven't had to adjust the ph of my feed. Adding it and the Calmag+Humates to lukewarm water, a day in advance. 6.3 ph the following day, when it's time to feed. I LOVE THIS HOBBY!!!!

Still slowly doing some defoliation before i get too far into flower. I got to say that I'd advise anyone to stay clear of Foxfarm Happy Frog soil. I have been battling gnats since day one. Recently started using Mosquitoe bites to try and poison the larvae. I don't know what else to do in flower. Any suggestions would be accepted. Thanks and happy growing to all!
