ChachoGreenCrown Intro: Hello again friends! We’re starting a new grow diary courtesy of Sweet Seed, who provided the seeds. Special thanks to Apolo for his always excellent service, and also to the other moderators Tommy and Jaypp. The selected strains are chosen out of pure curiosity; I want to grow these strains because there are great references about them everywhere. Plus, two of them were chosen by my friend @Tonsu for the grow he’s finishing, and I know firsthand that he has a pack of Indigo Berry Kush in his stash… hehehe I want to have the same as him to share impressions. Without further ado, I present to you the little paradise of American strains from Sweet Seed. Let’s get started! ChachoGreenCrown Germination Stage pt2 Hello everyone again! Today it's time for an update on the AMERICANS Apparently, this is not slowing down! I think they smell something… hehehe These MADE IN USA little plants are coming out with a lot of energy. The week has developed normally, and very calmly. There’s nothing to worry about for now. The Red Hot Cookies 2 that was yet to sprout had no issues, within a few hours it was out along with the others. They have been receiving watering every 2 days, about 75ml per plant. Always with a pH of 5.9 - 6 and an EC of 0.1. Solution temperature is 20ºC. On day 5 of germination, they received their first feeding with Rhizotonic. 1 ml/L + auxins 0.01ml/L with pH 6 EC 0.2. -75ml / plant- The climatic parameters have been optimal and very stable throughout the week. Temperatures stayed around 22-23ºC when the lights are on and about 18-20ºC when off. Humidity around 70%-80%. The substrate remains around 20-21ºC. This temperature is good for the little roots. (No need to connect the heating mat or humidifier for now). As you can see, I have a few measuring instruments set up, so I get several references. I installed a wall thermometer with mercury, there’s nothing more reliable than this. There’s also an electronic thermo-hygrometer with a probe and a universal pH-humidity-lumens probe. Regarding lighting, they are still under Solux LED 50w 4000k, I’ve lowered the light to about 35cm. I’ve reinforced security, just in case there’s some kind of “Capitol assault” in my absence. They still don’t have preventatives and well… being in the middle of the field, a big insect could come in and have a feast or some moth could leave its offspring around here and then we’d be in trouble… no preventative can handle that. (As a curiosity, in a past indoor grow… a very clever little mouse literally decapitated more than 6 freshly germinated plants, the craziest part was that I caught it in the act, with a stem between its little paws sucking the sap. Honestly, it was a mix of emotions hehehe) I’ll leave you some photos of how these gringas are doing. This coming week seems to hint at a bit more activity, until then… take care a lot, buddies! I’m still making conquest plans around here.

ChachoGreenCrown 4.2-GROWTH Hello everyone! We're back for another week with a new update on this interesting combination of American genetics from Sweet Seed. As you all know, this is my second follow-up here and I'm pretty excited about it hehehe I call it my little indulgence. Let's get into it. I can now consider them to be in growth, and I like the development they're showing; they're looking very healthy. The Solux Led 50w is performing exceptionally well. I'll describe the activities of the week starting from day 1 of growth, that is, from the last day I did an update. Let's get to it. GROWTH STAGE DAY 1 We start with a watering of about 50ml per plant Rhizotonic 1ml/L + Auxins 0.001ml/L Ec 0.2 Ph 6 DAY 2 No watering DAY 3 100ML/PLANT Rhizotonic 1ml/L + 0.5ml/L of A + B coco canna Ec 0.6 Ph 5.9 DAY 4 No watering DAY 5 50 ML/PLANT Rhizotonic 1ml/L + auxins 0.001ml/L Ec 0.2 Ph 6 DAY 6 NO WATERING DAY 7 Bacto hemp Ec 0.2 Ph 6.1 Good nutrient absorption, you can tell the root stimulator is working and they are well loaded with bacteria. This coming week I will start adding Sensi Cal Mag Xtra, and more growth nutrients. They will soon be getting transplanted into 3 liters. This light develops a lot of roots, you'll see. Now for the Climate. So far everything is stable on the East Coast. Here the SUN SHINES As always, I’ll leave you with a weekly average; while there are no significant changes, I’ll continue showing the parameters this way so there isn’t a bunch of data floating around. At the end of the stage, I’ll leave some graphs to better show the daily evolution of the parameters. Temp on Average: 22.1ºC Max: 23ºC Min: 20ºC Temp off Average: 20ºC Max: 20.5ºC Min: 17ºC Soil Temp Average: 20.8ºC Max: 21.6ºC Min: 20ºC Humidity Average: 84% Max: 90% Min: 69%

ChachoGreenCrown Hello everyone!! New update on these American seeds hehe we just finished the second week of growth and are starting the third week. I'll share a bit about the development over these days. Since they are in an initial state, it doesn't require excessive work. Just monitoring the different parameters and watering. It's been 5 days since the last update, and to keep you in the loop, I'll tell you what I did each day. LET'S GET TO IT!! DAY 13 No watering DAY 14 WATERING 150 ml/plant Coco A+B fertilizer canna 1ml/L + Rhizotonic 1ml/L + Auxins Ec 0.8 pH 6.1 DAY 15 WATERING 50 ml/l Rhizotonic 1 ml/l + auxins Ec 0.3 pH 6.1 APICAL PRUNING I practiced apical pruning on 5 plants. The indigo berry kush 2 doesn't have enough development to apply it, anyway since the beginning it had a weird pattern on the leaves, like a blending of different greens, I think it's a mutation, I've had a plant like this before and it develops without issue, but they grow with a less pretty color. For now, it stays here. On the other hand, a red hot cookies was growing like crazy, I hope that by applying apical pruning it branches out nicely. DAY 16 WATERING 150 ml/L BactoHemp Ec 0.2 pH 6.3 DAY 17 NO WATERING CLIMATIC PARAMETERS Temperature on Average: 23.1ºC Max: 24ºC Min: 21ºC Temperature off Average: 21ºC Max: 22ºC Min: 20ºC Soil temperature Average: 20.5ºC Max: 21.6ºC Min: 20ºC Humidity Average: 82% Max: 88% Min: 65% There will be news in a few days Best regards to everyone!!

ChachoGreenCrown WEEK 3 VEGETATIVE, WEEK 4 VEGETATIVE AND BEGINNING OF WEEK 5 OF VEGETATIVE Hello everyone! First of all, I apologize, I've had this on hold for a few days. The reasons... I've been overwhelmed haha and it's been 10 days since the last update. But I've been documenting everything so that no detail is lost, and the only thing I didn't have time to publish. After the watering applied on the 16th in week 3, they went 4 days without drying the pot. Something that was bothering me quite a bit. The plants were suffering a bit of lethargy. The reasons... I think the mix of coco + such red LEDs isn't doing them much good since they've been demanding a lot of calcium and magnesium that are absent in the soil, and well, well, adding N has caused a mess, blockage, and deficiency. (I didn't realize all this until later, stay tuned) The Indigo Berry Kush wasn't doing badly, the one who's sick is me for not noticing what was happening with this LED loaded with UV and infrared. I'm going to show you a bit and then I'll dive a little deeper into the matter. I'll detail the activities carried out each day. As I said earlier DAY 18, 19, 20 I didn't water, super saturated signs of something failing DAY 21 Watering 400ml/Plant Rizotonic 2 ml/L + auxins thinking they might have little root or some issue going on pH 6.5 EC 0.2 For calcium and magnesium absorption in coco, an optimal pH would be 5.8, another fail committed. We enter week 4 of growth. They went another 4 days without drying. DAY 22, 23, 24, 25 WITHOUT WATERING DAY 26 They're not bad, but I'm getting signs that something is wrong, it's my feeling. MAXIMUM MADNESS I decide to take them out of the pots to see what's going on. To my surprise, everything is fine in terms of root development. WHAT'S GOING ON HERE? I'm going to try something else. I PREPARE 6 15L FABRIC POTS COCO MIX 75% PERLITE 10% + HUMUS 10% + EXPANDED CLAY 5% AT THE BOTTOM the clay was previously washed to 5.5pH for 48H Watering 400ml/Plant EC 0.2 pH Bacto Bloom + auxins + rhizotonic Another fail. I go back to pH 6.3 (we're still dealing with the absence of calcium and magnesium without realizing that I haven't added it!! I was super convinced that dolomite was in the mix) DAY 27 UFF UFF this is when I notice the calcium and magnesium deficiency. Committing another fail, Watering 250ml/plant with Sensi CalMAg Extra EC 0.4 pH 5.8 .... once done I say, damn!! but this is loaded with N hahaha another big mistake. DAY 28 Trying to amend my error, the blockage and deficiency aren't too severe. Watering 400 ml/plant Cannazym 2.5ml/l EC 0.2 pH 5.8 WEEK 5 GROWTH DAY 29 To my surprise, the pots have practically lost 70% of the water. I'm going to try to correct the grow. I prepare to put in stakes. I DO AN AGGRESSIVE CROPPING MADE IN CHACHO I GOT CARRIED AWAY the yellow strips aren't bugs, it's dirt that got stuck there during the transplant, it got dirty on the floor. I'm a little piggy. I haven't seen any flies again, I think they were just a couple of stray pests from the substrate, and if there were more... would they survive this UV??? I think it has the plants a bit toasted. WATERING 400ml per plant with CalMag from Bio Bizz 0.5 ml/L (it only contains calcium and magnesium) + Cannazym 2.5 ml/l EC 0.3 pH 5.8 ANOTHER PENDING ISSUE We need to take measures with the lights. For now, I'm going to add to the panel the two growth lights I have, Solux 50w 4000k CFL 125W 6400k I THINK THEY'VE BEEN HAPPY TO SEE ME A LITTLE MORE THESE LAST TWO DAYS AND THEY'RE EAGER TO IMPROVE!! As you can see, the Indigo Berry Kush aren't growing at the same rate as the others, I doubt if I did well by applying it to one of them due to its Kush genetics. For now, this is how they look. I LEAVE CLIMATE PARAMETERS; VERY GOOD SO FAR Tª ON Average: 22.9ºC Max: 23ºC Min: 21ºC Tª OFF Average: 20ºC Max: 21ºC Min: 19ºC Tª SUBSTRATE Average: 20ºC Max: 21.3ºC Min: 19.8ºC Humidity Average: 70% Max: 81% Min: 59%

ChachoGreenCrown Hello everyone!! New update on the USA strains It seems they have recovered They look better, and the new shoots have the strength that I like I highlight the activities carried out these days and attach photos DAY 30 400ml per plant A+B coco Canna 1.5ml/L + Cannazym 1m/L EC 1.2 pH 6.1 DAY 31 I'm going to let them dry well No watering I take the opportunity to tie them and guide them a bit. I thought the reason they slowed down could be that they had spider mites. I took several leaves at random and inspected them with a magnifying glass, and they are as healthy as a potato DAY 32 400ml per plant Sensi Calmag 1ml/l + Rhino skin 1ml/l pH 6 EC 0.3 It seems they are looking good DAY 33 500mL PER PLANT A+B COCO Canna 1.5ml/l (always of each) + Auxins/supervit EC 1.2 pH 6 Tonight, 1 hour before the lights go out, I will do a PROPOLIX treatment CLIMATIC PARAMETERS SAME AS LAST WEEK; there have been no variations There will be news soon!!!!!! ChachoGreenCrown WEEK 1 FLOWERING LITTLE PARADISE OF USA STRAIN WEEK DEVELOPMENT A busy week, quite a bit of work around here DAY 1 Watering 1L per plant COCO A+B canna 1ml/l + pk13-14 0.75ml/l + cannazym 1ml/l Ec 1.2 pH 6.1 Time for some lower pruning WHILE DOING THE PRUNING, I USUALLY INSPECT PLANT BY PLANT AND WHAT IS MY SURPRISE.... INDIGO BERRY KUSH 2 IS TRIPLOID It turns out that the two branches from the 2nd node are triploid wtf I've never had anything like this happen, I've had plants that came from seeds with 3 cotyledons, 2 plants from one seed (twins), an albino, polyploids... but never a plant that only had 2 triploid branches In reality, the plant is triploid in itself, in its entirety. So far, it's showing female flowers but I’ll be keeping an eye on it since its chromosomal configuration could be either XXX or XXY, possibly showing some male flowers in this second option. In theory, triploids are sterile, but seeds can still develop which, in this case, is the same whether they are sterile or not; the fireworks are guaranteed. I’ll be attentive. I’ll show you what I told you DAY 2 WATERING 400 ML/PLANT CANNAZYM 2ml/l Ec 0.2 pH 6.1 To soften the brew from the previous day a bit DAY 3 600 ml per plant Delta 9 1.2ml Ec 0.32 pH 6.3 DAY 4 600ml per plant Rhino Skin 1ml/l + Sensi Calmag Xtra 1ml/l + cannazym 1ml/l Ec 0.4 pH 6.3 DAY 5 1.6L/Plant COCO A+B canna 1.5ml/L + pk 13-14 1ml/l + canna boost 1ml/l Ec 1.5 pH 6.3 TIME FOR ANOTHER PRUNING In 4 days, the lower shoots have gone wild, so another little pruning and while I'm at it, I’ll tie and arrange the branches in such a way that they get as much light as possible DAY 6 NO WATERING DAY 7 600ml per plant CANNAZYM 1.5 ml/l + terra flores 1ml/l Ec 0.33 pH 6.5 THIS IS HOW BEAUTIFUL THE PLANTS WERE TODAY Name: 20210320_121027.jpg Views: 39 Size: 510.7 KB END OF ACTIVITIES P.S.: I always take the photos when I arrive at the grow, before watering, I also do the pruning before watering, so no one should be scared jajjaja I don’t have them in cactus mode CLIMATE PARAMETERS This week the humidity took a significant dip at the beginning of the week, luckily it stabilized afterwards This caused a bit of stretching as it coincided with the first week of flowering when they tend to stretch. Also, the temperature at startup was higher Still cool, they are some amazing plants that wow I don’t know if it will show in the photos but the plant in the back is probably 1 m tall and the others between 60-70-80 cm for sure. There are 6 plants in 1mx1m. I’ll put measurements in the next update. ChachoGreenCrown WEEK 2 FLOWERING LITTLE PARADISSE OF USA STRAINS Hello everyone!! It's been a week since the last update and as always, I’ll share a bit about the activities carried out and the development of the grow. Well, before "the comment of the week" haha. I've noticed that American strains are more susceptible when it comes to taking in nutrients. The watering has to provide exactly what they need. It's not like the European strains that can handle crazy EC levels... no, no, the Americans want their food just right with drop-by-drop precision, EC of 1.2-1.4 at most, depending on what... - Waterings with bases and other compounds EC max 1.2-1.4 - Waterings with calcium EC max 0.4 - Waterings with single compounds or few EC max 0.8 THEY DRINK IT ALL With a lower pH, I noticed they were doing worse than now, where I’m giving them pH 6.2-6.5. I think it’s because when I made the mix, I didn’t add dolomite, and when I added humus, clay at the bottom at 5.5 pH... this has tended to acidify things a bit. So, it’s good for them that I give them this higher pH range. Well, we’ll keep an eye on every step here, seeing how they respond. On the other hand, the Indigo Berry Kush triploid is developing only female flowers and is doing great! I’ll say it again... I don’t get male flowers at all, I don’t know, guys, it’s partly luck, to be honest. ChachoGreenCrown WEEK 3 FLOWERING LITTLE PARADISE OF USA STRAINS Hello everyone!! It's been a few days since I updated, but a series of events have happened and I feel the need to share it with you guys. Let's break it down FIRST THE ACTIVITIES CARRIED OUT DAY 15 NO WATERING Letting it dry DAY 16 1.5L per plant Cannazym 1ml/l + rhino skyn 1ml/l + sensi cal mag 1ml/l EC 0.4 pH 6 -I'M GETTING READY TO TIE BRANCHES AND SET THINGS UP -I'M DOING A WEEKLY CHECK FOR ANY ANOMALIES So far everything is great, I'm tying and removing some leaves that block light from reaching the bottom HAVE YOU EVER SEEN A LEAF LIKE THIS?? Well, it's not all lost, for now, it's just one plant, the others are clean, I've removed about 10 male flowers (I didn't even let them peek out!! hahahaha) .... and puff, we're in a very early stage of flowering, they might develop more... or not, who knows. It could also be that the pollen has low pollination capacity.. etc. For now, I'm keeping it,, I'll keep checking it every other day, if I see it getting out of control, I'll just remove it and that's it. WHAT HAS REALLY SUCKED is that I had to throw away about 10 clones I took from this one. A waste of money, time, and quality. I ONLY HAVE 2 CLONES LEFT OF THE ZENZATIÓN II, AND 10 OF THE RED HOT COOKIES, 5 OF EACH DAY 17 NO watering DAY 18 1.2L/Plant CANNAZYM 2ML/l + TERRA FLORES 1ML/l EC 0.6 pH 6.3 I'LL SHOW MORE PRO PHOTOS WHEN THE BUDS START FATENING UP That's all for today Cheers!!

ChachoGreenCrown WEEK 4 OF FLOWERING DAY 22 WATERING 1.5 L PER PLANT I've noticed that the Indigo Berry Kush are demanding more nutrients, or they have some blockage, the color of the leaves is fading very quickly. I'm preparing two nutrient mixes. Mix 1 (for all) Coco A+B 1ml/l + pk 13-14 0.5ml/l + cannaboost 1ml/l + cannazym 1ml/l EC 1 pH 6.4 Mix 2 (IBK) I ADD TO THE INITIAL MIX 0.2ml/l of a+b coco + 0.5ml/l pk13-14 EC 1.3 pH 6.4 DAY 23 NO WATERING DAY 24 NO WATERING DAY 25 1.2l PER PLANT MEGA BUD 1g/l + BUD CANDY 0.5ml/l + Cannaboost 1ml/l EC 1.2 pH 6.5 DAY 26 No watering DAY 27 1.2l per plant Cannazym 1.5ml/l + Rhino Skyn 1ml/l + Sensi Calmag Xtra 0.75ml/l I've given the Indigo Berry Kush a little extra Calmag, 0.5ml/l more than the others. EC 0.44 pH 6.4 DAY 28 No watering I HAVE IN MIND THAT ONE OF THE INDIGOS IS HAVING ISSUES... THIS WEEK I’M GOING TO MEASURE LEACHATES IN ONE OF THE WATERINGS AND SEE WHAT I GET TO MAKE THE RIGHT DECISIONS. ON THE OTHER HAND, I THINK THEY'RE LIMITED IN VENTILATION AND SPACE... I WANT THE POTS TO DRY FASTER, I’VE HAD SOME VERY HIGH HUMIDITY SPIKES DURING DARK PERIODS AND I DON’T WANT MISTAKES. AND ALSO I WANT THEM TO HAVE MORE SPACE, SO I’M CONSIDERING DOING A REMODELING AND GIVING THEM A PROPER END TO THEIR GROWTH. I’LL LET YOU KNOW IF I DO ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT I HAVE IN MIND.

I measured leachates several days from the plants that released some excess, and I'm really happy because they all are within the same parameter ranges with very optimal Ec and pH. (All Ec between 1.1-1.6 and pH 6.5 and 6.7) -> On the other hand, the degree of maturation of some plants is greater than others... --Sweet Zenzation II, RedHotCookies I are very advanced, I think they will be ready in 10 days... so from now on just water, enzymes, and sugars. --Sweet Zenzation I, RedHotCookies II, Indigo Berry Kush I and II are less advanced... they have about 15 to 20 days left. … CLIMATIC PARAMETERS I have corrected those humidity spikes!! yep yep I put in a much more powerful extraction... a Ventis extractor 280 m3/hour. I also installed an intractor that I didn't have before, this one injects 110m3/hour and turns off for 15 minutes every hour. ChachoGreenCrown A VERY ATTRACTIVE STRAIN TO GROW. ITS EFFECTS ARE QUITE POTENT. IT WON'T DISAPPOINT YOU. RED HOT COOKIES #PLANT1# -DESCRIPTION: Fast-growing and quick-flowering plant. This pheno tended to grow a lot in height, having super explosive growth in the first weeks of life. Very vigorous plant. It started showing reddish tones after the 3rd week of flowering, and in the end, those tones were a bit more purple. Quite compact and chunky buds. Clearly with ancestors from the purple family. Flowering 8 weeks. -SMELL: Very rich smell, a mix between purple and citrus. This pheno smells quite a bit but less than the one that follows. -TASTE: The taste differs from the purple which surprises me, it tastes earthy and citrusy with a spicy touch. -EFFECTS: A very high buzz! very euphoric. What a punch the Red Hot Cookies gives you jojojojojo -PREDOMINANT TERPENES: Terpinol, Limonene, Linalool, Terpinolene, Myrcene Name: 20210521_005140.jpg Visits: 2 Size: 333.8 KB RED HOT COOKIES #PLANT2# -DESCRIPTION: A slightly slower-growing plant at first, but it grew quite a bit during flowering. In fact, the flowering was more sativa-like. Thin stems, long internodes, somewhat dispersed buds, thin and greener than the other phenotype I grew. It started showing reddish tones after the 4th week of flowering, and in the end, those tones were a bit more purple. Quite compact buds, but slender. Clearly with ancestors from the purple family, but with more sativa influence. Flowering 8 complete weeks. -SMELL: Very rich smell, a mix between purple, citrus, and sweet notes. This pheno smells a lot, it smells very good. -TASTE: The taste also differs from the purple, it tastes like berries, it's very sweet, leaving a citrus aftertaste when you exhale the smoke. Tastier than the first one. -EFFECTS: A very high buzz! very euphoric. What a punch this Red Hot Cookies gives you too jojojojojo -PREDOMINANT TERPENES: Terpinol, Limonene, Linalool, Terpinolene, Myrcene

ChachoGreenCrown SWEET ZENZATION #PLANTA1# -DESCRIPTION: Slow-growing plant, but with an indica structure. Very lively plant. The buds are quite compact and loaded with trichomes. In morphology, they resemble kush genetics. This pheno is the most potent of the two I grew, and although it showed some hermaphroditism... I haven't found any seeds. Flowering 9 weeks. -SMELL: Very rich smell, citrusy, sweet. TASTE: earthy flavor, but leaves a sweet aftertaste. -EFFECTS: Very pleasant high, manageable; I would say it's one of the strains I would include in the daily smoke catalog. -PREDOMINANT TERPENES: Limonene, Terpinolene, Myrcene Name: 20210521_005335.jpg Views: 2 Size: 169.8 KB Name: 20210521_005456.jpg Views: 2 Size: 198.1 KB SWEET ZENZATION #PLANTA2# -DESCRIPTION: Faster-growing plant than its sister, but also with an indica structure. The buds are quite compact and loaded with trichomes. This plant produced thicker buds. In morphology, they also resemble kush genetics. This pheno is very interesting in terms of morphology. Flowering 9 weeks. -SMELL: Earthy-citrusy, sweet smell. TASTE: earthy flavor, but leaves a sweet and somewhat acidic aftertaste at the same time. The two plants taste very similar, but this one is less potent; the effect comes on quicker. -EFFECTS: Very pleasant high, manageable; I would say it's one of the strains I would include in the daily smoke catalog. -PREDOMINANT TERPENES: Limonene, Terpinolene, Myrcene

ChachoGreenCrown INDIGO BERRY KUSH #PLANTA1# -DESCRIPTION: This plant had issues while growing, then it started to have a strange morphology, giant leaves, barely developing lateral branches. But when it started to flower, it began to show some really beautiful hues. The buds are quite compact and loaded with trichomes, but small. In morphology, they resemble Berries genetics. This pheno is the most potent of the two I grew. Flowering 9 weeks. -SMELL: Very sweet smell, with hints of syrup. TASTE: Sweet, sweet, and sweet. Apple, mango, grape. -EFFECTS: Very pleasant high, manageable, and it's another one of the herbs I would include in the daily smoke catalog. -PREDOMINANT TERPENES: Limonene, Terpinolene, Myrcene, Linalool. Name: 20210521_005634.jpg Views: 0 Size: 206.7 KB INDIGO BERRY KUSH #PLANTA2 -DESCRIPTION: Well, I would say we have a true OG here. Its vegetative phase was slow growth, robust stature, good branching with short internodes. Fat, hard buds forming good colas. This pheno clearly has OG genetic dominance with some LA Confidential. It's very different from the other one. Flowering 9 weeks. -SMELL: Very sweet, earthy smell. -TASTE: Earthy-woody with sweet hints but not as pronounced as the previous one. -EFFECTS: Very laid-back high. This one is for relaxing and sleeping. -PREDOMINANT TERPENES: Terpinol, Limonene, Terpinolene, Myrcene, and a bit of Caryophyllene.
