Hi there, Actually you should keep all the fan leaves until harvest if they are not damaged. Those fan leaves are acted like extra sources of energy for plants. Also you shouldn’t stress the plant anymore and let her grow happily until harvest. You can trim those leaves when harvest.Happy Growing... ✌️
I would be harvesting ASAP, much longer and the plant will be dead!
Definitely would not be spraying anything - now or ever, on to buds.
Hope this hels,..........

@MirandaH861, my friend gave me two sour orange autos pre topped during its 1/2 week. 🙄 I believe it forces them to flower quicker than desired... Oh well 😂
Im on week 6 doing lst for first time but mainlining looks so cool. i thought you couldn't do it on autos so this is an exciting new thing to try. thanks for having the nerve to do it. it looks like you topped them as well.. The whole thing looks great, thanks!

@PREPPYPUNK, I topped her so early. She was barely hatched! I decided to "play around" with her, BUt I doubt I top an auto again. It slows the process down a bit too much. I will probably use the net next time.
@OrganicCannabisConnoisseur, it's my first time mainlining, well basically, this is only the 2nd cannabis plant I have ever grown. I have a green thumb with all other plants, so decided to try it out! Thank you so much !!
Your flowers are looking good. You can top autos you just gotta wait a little longer so they don't get shocked into flower. There's a user on reddit u/Apollox that has some really good examples of mainlined autos with multiple ounce harvests per plant.
Nicely done. I'm doing my first mainline experiment too but mine is taking for ever. In retrospect if I do another, I'll probably top earlier and let them go a little longer in veg. I've also been thinking about experimenting with autos and DWC hydro for a bit of a faster, easier experience.
I'm interested to see how yours works out, it might be the smallest mainline I've seen yet
