Hydro_Bins New grower, always looking to improve.
Continuous drip, expanded clay system with an 80L reservoir.
Nutrients mixed to a 40L ratio. (Half strength)
Recovering from accidentally leaving the drip feed for about 18 hours, and then nutrient locking the clones the previous week.

Hydro_Bins Girls have finally settled into their nutrient regime. They have come back from lock-out the previous week, after a flush and re-dosing the nutrients.
My nutrients were mixed to a 70L ratio this week, up from a 65L ratio last week.
Daily maintenance of the reservoir is adding about 1L of water and PH down. Res starts and raises from 5.8 - 6.2 by the next afternoon like clockwork. Perhaps the air stone in the res, along with aeration dripping through the hydroton and piping is adding to this, along with the plants feeding. This does not worry me.

Hydro_Bins This week there was an explosion in growth! Get ready for some aggressive vegging!
Looking to get a height of about 20” and planning to flip. At 10” last week and 4” of nee growth this week, it won’t be long.

Hydro_Bins (Pictures taken before bedtime, hence the sleepy leaves)
Another week of explosively tight node growth! Mix of nutrients was made to an 80L ratio. Defoliation was done (slight).
I am planning to flip to 12/12 soon, as the plants are 20” and I have about 48” of room for total growth (not including the space needed to the LED).
The trellis will be installed shortly, as hydroton doesn’t have the stability soil has, and the plants seem to be able to be moved easily. This should help support the fat nugs-to-come.
Edit: added week 5.5 photos. Trellis installed and flipping g to 12/12.

Hydro_Bins Plants are growing well!
Transitioned to bloom this week, and mixed nutrients to a ratio of 85L.
Started to feed some branches under the trellis netting to help with widening the canopy.
Fragrance really has kicked it up this week! I can tell the rezin additive is doing it’s thing!
Moves the light up 6” to a total of 24” above the canopy. The top of the canopy is receiving 750PPFD.

Hydro_Bins Week 2 of flower.
The ladies drank 30% of their nutrients by mid week! Starting PPM was 1250, and was down to 850. Mixed a new batch of nutrients slightly stronger to 1350ppm and continued for the week.
Wife has continued to do her defoliation on the plants, removing only the fan leaves that are blocking light from bud sites, or “laying” on each other.
Vertical growth has been around 4” this week. I love the growth but am trying to keep the node spacing tight with good light height.
Pistils have developed and bud sites are visible!

Hydro_Bins This was a week of continued explosive growth. A little bit of stretch on some of the plants has gained upwards of 10” of height.
Defoliation continues with the idea of creating light for the developing bud sites.
Massive Bloom has is starting to be added to the nutrient regime. Getting ready for bud development!

Hydro_Bins This week compromised of vertical growth (still) and development of the bud sites.
Pistils are in full production, and buds at the nodes have doubled in size this week!
The girls are drinking steadily from 10L to 13L daily by the end of the week. Defoliation continues on a seems-to-be weekly basis.

Time for bulking! Kind of worried as I hope they will fill out!
Great defoliation performed by the wife.

Hydro_Bins Bulking is starting on the plants. Up to this point I was sceptical that I may not be able to achieve the same yield as my previous grow. Things are looking up!
I removed my white drip emitter caps and found that 3 of 4 emitters on all 4 plants were clogged. This may be due to running out of “drip clean” for two weeks. I have removed the caps and have open spaghetti lines.
Trichomes are developing nicely and plants are drinking on average, 10L between the 4 per day.

Hydro_Bins This week the Trichomes have slowly started to gain more cloudiness.
Buds have been slowly fattening up.
It looks like I will be starting to flush within the next week. I will time it as soon as I start to see some mid-level buds showing amber. In hydro I only need to flush for a week, and in that time hopefully achieving a 25-30% amber trichomes.

Hydro_Bins This week the plants have continued to bulk.
I am still waiting for about a 5-10% amber across the top canopy before I start my week flush.
The lower bud sites are 70/30 cloudy/clear. I am hoping this extra time will help with the development of these trichomes.
I will be checking trichs day to day and potentially starting to flush within this next week.

Hydro_Bins Last week of nutrients and the buds are still growing. Trichomes have hit around the 10% amber by the end of the week leading into flush.
No problems, and girls are still drinking around 10L a day. Colours on the leaves are turning nice shades of purple.

Hydro_Bins 10 days of total flush before they get cut! This will land it on a weekend and give us some time to take them down.
Purples are popping and the buds are getting rock hard.
It looks like someone sprayed the buds with water and sprinkled sugar on them.
@Rayshian, Thank you for the kind comments! I don’t implement CO2. It’s all air passively drawn from outside the tent.
I am in a below-ground room, so that helps with less temp and humidity fluctuations.
@Hydro_Bins, thays the way it goes my friend! Don't be afraid to ask the community! It's fantastic and there's sooooo much knowledge out there just waiting to be asked 💯
@NugLife420, Thanks! The bottom of the bins have about 1.5” - 2” of water in them at all times.
Handy in case of a power outage, but more curious how the roots may develop.
