Day 5:
Welcome to the birth of a RQS Blue Cheese automatic.
Fastest germination I've ever witnessed. 2days and a half and her head came out!
2 days later first serated leafs appeared.
I presoaked the substrate with a 400ppm Ph6,0 HESI Root solution in de chlorinated tap water. (210ppm start reading : hard water here) . I have the impression that this really improved germ and veg start. I'll double check with an RQS Royal Haze auto.
Anyway, promising ! She shares the room with my RQS NL auto which is mid 3rd week of flower. Hence the seedling receives 660nm to 720nm photons too this grow.
I'm curious how that will translate in to the shape of the plant.
I hope not too much stretch.
Perfect start.
She thrives in a 15l auto pot, covered by the auto pot cover.
Temp = 26°C RH= 85%.
Ppm 400 light Hesi root complex in dechlorinated tap water.
She is quite healthy.
Grow could be a little faster but RH is low cause I have a plant in late flower in same space. I'm on the edge for both babies now. It translates into tinner leaves which of course will slow down photosynthesis. But it's a choice.
As I learned with the NL auto: it ain't ideal to mix strains and ages in a single small space grow. One can't adapt the ideal VPD for each separate plant. Next grow will be single strain 3 plants grow from seed to harvest.
Adapted the nutes following the HESI dynamic nutrients app.
Going well.
She had very slight nuteburn last week but new leaves show up ok now.
White hairs standing nicely straight, leaves deep green, stems strong and thickening while buds are swelling.
The cheese smell is starting to come up..
Lot of trichome production compared to my last harvested northern lights. Even fan leaves are civered with them.
She's doing great. Buds are fattening up nicely. She develops a distinctive smell. Lots of trichome production.
I upped the nutes with some PK. She seems to love that.
Buds went heavy and had to be sustained with some wires. They look drenched in resin.
The buds are frosting up nicely an getting fat. I gave her the last feeding this morning and will start the flush in 2-3 days. I guess she needs another 10 days from now.
All branches needed support as the buds are heavily loaded with resin and feel dense and heavy.
i'm really looking forward to chop this one.
Started the 7-10 days of flush. Next weekend 48h of darkness before chopday.
The buds are ripening great, few tris still clear though.
Smell is intense with sweet fragrances . Buds are sticky and covered with oily tris.
Made some BHO butter yesterday.
I used a plastic 50cl Coca-Cola bottle with small holes in the bottom and a hole in the cap. Used purified butane propane mix at 85-15%. A total of 450gr of gas for a little over 50gr of dry trim. Trim was of low quality. ( A lot of fan leaves and branches )
Nevertheless I obtained a good 5grams of golden syrup.)
Nectar of the gods😋
