GrowillaGorilla "Dawn of The Plant's of The Ape" Hello, world. Tina and Louise here. We came out tapping on the 13th of Friday at roughly 9:30 p.m. and we are raring to GROW! As you can see, Tina looks to be suffering from what looks like "nute burn" which is hard to do w/o any nutes, so she is definitely a (special) little girl. Louise has hidden Tina's glasses so she can't see that she is a weed of a spotted color. Probably nothing more than the soil is a tad rich for her, so we're not too worried. Picky Eater! I'd tell her to be more like her sister, but when it comes to telling a female what to do... I end up broke, bruised or both. So you do your thang, Tina! These little beauties are hanging out in cups made famous by a bad country song as they reach for the 600w LED Zeppelin 31 inches above their tops. They are vivacious and full of fire! As Tina will tell you she is "A smart, strong, sensual woman!" Bob's Budders are cozy at the moment hanging out in 36% humidity at 72 degrees with a slight vortex of fabulous swirling air kissing those precious angel faces. They are currently listening to the Discovery Weekly playlist along with me on Spotify (it's a Monday thing) as I drink coffee and tell them bad jokes. All is right in the world, and this Ape could not be happier. -G.G.

4/20 < Happy! One week today. Plants of The Ape Update: Today was moving day. Got Tina and Louise out of the projects and into the penthouse. Not sure if this officially makes me a sugar daddy or not yet, but anyway in the immortal words of George Jefferson... "We're movin on up." Now the transplant was not without a SNAFU of course. I had cut the bottom away from Tina's pot ad she sort of just come spilling out as she disappeared into a sinkhole that I created, poor girl looked like she was being engulfed in quicksand. This is when the wife added her two-cents in the immortal words of Fred Sanford... "You Big Dummy." Needless to say, she came in like the champ she is and showed me how it was done. She cut down both sides of the cup, opened it up like a Banana reached in and gently lifted Louise up and placed her into her new home like a boss. I noticed that Tina (the runt) had nice girth on her tap root but she had very little mass as far as feeler rooting or spreading, whereas Louise you could see roots all over the place, so much so that they held her soil mass together like a fat kid with a cookie. She didn't drop one morsel. We watered them just around their base and about two inches in diameter. Notice I said "we" Heather has taken a vested interest in the girls. Something about my caveman's hands. "Atouk Alunda, Lana" "Atouk Haraka Haraka!" So the move was a glaring success and on 4/20 how cool is that? I have enclosed a pic of the medium in case, anyone has any idea of what I may need before the Mega Crop arrives and a couple of pics of Tina and Louise.

4/17 Nothing to report today other than the brown spotting on Tina has cleared up and her sister Louise put another good 1/4" on her overnight. Poor Tina, she's a runt. I have grown many things in my lifetime and more recently it has been microgreens such as Pea Shoots, Daikon Radish, Spicy Salad mix, and my Husky Cherry Red tomatoes, I love salad and the microgreens are packed full of "Muggle Nutes" as I call them. But I have never been like I am right now, I can not stop peeking on these girls. I know a watched pot never boils, I get it. I'm either a fruit or a voyeur but I don't care. This is so amazing to me, that I can barely stand it and they are not even four days old. Does anyone have a number of a good therapist? One that will let me bring the girls with me, of course.
