* The first two leaves ended up somewhat malformed
* Some burn marks on the leaves, likely nutrient burn
* 3 and 4 are coming in and seem ok so far, good rate of growth
* Began LST with with wire
* Bottom couple sets of leaves got pretty chewed up by nutrient burn
* Wire was cutting into stem, removed wire but I may have broken the stem :-(
* Growth seems to continue despite my screw up with the wire
I'm growing in a DWC setup.
Should the ppm be adjusted daily to keep it in the recommended range or should I feed once per week topping up the water daily instead?
Sounds like I've been massively underfeeding.
I change the res once per week and was adding nutrients then and only then.
Sometimes once more if I thought it was starving.
Top the res every two days at least. If EC has dropped, top with some premixed feed. If EC has risen, top with pH'd water. I've found this to be the best way to keep it at appropriate levels and it also seems to extend the time between total res changes.
You can change your reservoir water for new nutrient-water every one or two weeks, but in the meantime they need to have the reservoir topped off with pH'd nutrient water at 1/4 strength. Gl with the setup
* Replaced air filter to keep the stank down
* Plant is progressing well despite it's rough start to life
* Plant used up all the nutrients in the water just before water change day
* Flower pistils have emerged

* Day 51, plant used almost half of the nutrients put in during water change the day before
* Nutrient usage is through the roof, having to add daily to keep up

* Day 59, all nutrients were used up from water change 3 days earlier, full regiment of nutrients added
I've got some burn marks on my leaves ( Day 67 photos ) in my second week of flowering, I've been adding lots of nutrients as the plant seems to take whatever I feed it inside of a day or two!
Plant is using 1.25L water per day.
Is this nutrient burn?
I adjust the pH daily to as close to 6 as I can get it. Based on the answer I got in another post, I believe I have been massively underfeeding my plant.
I've been mixing in the nutrients only once / week when I change the water. I was unclear on weather the ppm should be constant or whether it should be mixed once at the beginning of the week and no extra added.
* Ended week 9 lean so I could troubleshoot some leaf spotting and curling
* Day 70, despite what the TDS meter reads, the water has very little color, flower stems elongated about an inch over night
* Flowers look great, lots of them as well
* Leaves have a lot of spots, some yellowing
* Removing lid from DWC, smelled like sulfur, roots don't look particularly rotten but the pH was really low (3.98) a couple days ago for about a day
* Turns out the EC/PPM should be constant within a range not set once at feeding when the water is changed
* Sulfur smell is still present when removing lid but the roots don't smell
* Day 77 Pretty sure i've got some root rot going on, the sulfur smell was back quite strong and the ph had dropped from 6.00 to 4.00 in 24 hours
* Day 78 I carefully picked any leaf material out of the roots, there was no sulfur smell today. The roots aren't slimy or brown so if there is rot it's quite minimal. There was also no nutrient uptake, water was changed. My guess would be that next week will be the ripen week.
* Day 81, more and more leaves are turning yellow and dying back, I suspect next week or the week after will be the flush week before harvest
* Day 84 - Flush week
* Day 85 - Decided to do one more week of fertilizer just to try and get the buds a little more mature
* Day 86 - The stink is really ramping up
* Day 89 - The stink is ramping up yet again
