All seeds popped, 2 have liftoff from soil, 2 are still feeling around in the dirt. I now have 4 seeds started, and an unsexed clone. No feminized seeds, so I’m starting more than I need, hoping for a total of 4 female plants. 2/2 and everybody’s up out of the dirt!

Of the 4 seeds, one is growing much faster than the others, but I don’t have enough experience yet to know if that means it’s definitely male. Planted the 2 larger ones in 2.5qt pots and they seem happy. Used plenty of perlite and organic potting soil, a tiny bit of smart soil in the bottom 1/3 of the pots.

Here we go! My tent will be in use for 10 weeks so here’s hoping I can keep these going and manageable! 2/21: topping the large seedlings - they need to stay as low as possible

Can’t believe the size for age - but tomorrow or this weekend I have to repot those two smaller ones! I’ve learned as soon as the leaves could possibly touch the sides, the roots are already there. Their final size for a while has to be 1.5gal

About a month in, and I’m training them pretty roughly to see what happens. A combo of mainline and hst, lst. I need to keep them pretty short but don’t want to hurt production too much.

The ladies are looking good! Leafy and strong stems quickly getting more stiff. I’m excited to see what their shape looks like by the time they’re flowering. Because these have to stay no taller for the next 6-7 weeks until the tent is free, I’m doing some intensive lst/hst with skewers and binder clips to hold the branches. It’s looking very bonsai and I’m digging it

Lots of lst, topping, defoliation, a little hst... have to keep them about this size, till the tent is ready for the new crop. Really pleased with their shape and how they’ve all taken off. I wonder if these will just be bigger plants in general, because of the grow box and everything I’ve learned...ph-ing water and how dry the soil should be, how much perlite to add, how to mix amendments into smart soil, keeping the proper humidity, how the plants grow and how to prune them for desired harvest... I’m learning so much and although it’s intense, I absolutely love it. This hobby has really been a mental lifesaver for me. Inside my grow tent is the one area we can find peace and solitude.

One of the seedlings has started flowering under an 18/6 light schedule - whaaatttt?? Possibly a timer mishap? Now it’s going to 20/4 so there’s no mistake on the other 3! Ugh I still have at least 2-3 weeks till I can put these in the tent, and they’re definitely putting my lst, defol and even hst skills to the test
