The left one is going good but the other 2 are staying very small. Normally i would cut 1 away and let the biggest grow! But they stay so small that i’m thinking of letting them both grow in the container. We will see what happens in the next week. Started with advance nutrient coco A and B

2 days ago i topped the left plant. the 2 little plant on the right i did not top because they remain very little like midget plants so i decided to let them both grow in this container. normally the plan was to keep the strongest of them both but maybe the 2 of them will give a harvest that i would get from 1 normal plant. strange that it's 2 plants who stay so small? never had this before.

This week i moved the plants from there other place to the grow space were they will be for the rest of there lives. was drying my last harvest in the tent and cleaned everything out so the plants could go to there home. facing some magnesium deficiency. so i put more nutes in the water and also added 2 ml /L Cal Mag to get rid of the problem. the 2 midget plant stay behind but i will let them grow both did it before and it worked so let's see if it works again.

i did a little more of sensi coco A and B in the feeding. took it from 3ml/L to 3,5ml/L but after a day i saw little tip burn . i will be taking A/B back to 3 ml/L i think this is the sweet spot for these plants. for the rest nothing much to mention the plants are doing well so in about 4/5 weeks we will know the results

hey, i have lowered some nutrient because had some tip burns. so lowered a few things . all is going well and today i took out all the plants to give them a good trim to have a good light penetration to the lower bud sites . i must say that the bud development is real good and i'm looking forward to the last couple of weeks to see how all the buds ripen. looking forward to harvest these ladies :-)

well i know she got tip burn and i reduced the amount of nutrient last week but she does not recover well. maybe cut down a little more? plant n 1 looks good but plant 2 has got burned tip and some spot on some leaves. or maybe they are scars from an overdose 2 weeks ago.

well from Today i stopped with big bud coco and gave them overdrive from now on so they can go for the last explosion. i also cut down one some other nutrient because the plants were burning. i don't think that i will have a yield like last time but it should be great quality and that all that matters. i'm guessing 2 or 3 weeks to go till harvest but will do some inspection on the trichomes to be sure.

the Royal gorilla was a real nice plant to grow and i'm going to grow it again. i topped the plant and did some LST on her so she could have mutiple buds. i had 1 big plant and 2 smaller ones and i put the both smaller ones in the same container like i did the other plant . so the 2 plant stayed smaller then the other but i think it would have been the same harvest if i just had 2 big plant .👍 will be growing this strain again ! Great genetics from Royal Queen Seeds.

You give them sensi coco bloom nutes in veg ?
Bluesbreeder
Bluesbreedercommented7 years ago
@HappyGrower,well the first diary i posted was with a 400w HID . But i had to move my grow room. And i bought a viparspectra 600w for the auto ultimate diary and it did very good got almost 230gr from 1 plant but i was still investigatng and reading a lot about lights. And i bought myself 2 Quantum Boards 135w each and the cinderella jack diary was grown under the QB’s and what the hell these are great lights. All the buds even the lower ones developped to big buds. I’m guessing i will have between 400/500 grams from 4 plants. But it’s still drying but the wet weight was 2265gr . I use the viparspectra now for veg and put them under the QB’s for flowering.

@Bluesbreeder, Absolutely .. the light is very crucial if you want a harvest far above average. To begin with I used cheap 200 dollars LED lights from China but changed to Spectrum King SK602 .. and what a difference ! Much bigger yields, much better quality, much more thricomes/resin and way much stronger/bigger/healthier/beautiful plants. Most cheap LED lights from China actually do a good job when it comes to canopy but when it comes to the lower parts of the plants then they all struggle big time. For 200 dollars you cant ask for more though. What light do you run ?
Bluesbreeder
Bluesbreedercommented7 years ago
@HappyGrower, i must say that this is my best harvest ever and my previous harvest from 1 Auto ultimate was also great with Advance nutrient . . but my grows before where with an 400W HID lamp and with Canna products. now i changed my lights and nutrient line and use different technique so it's hard to compare. is it the other nutrient? is it the new light ? is it the Bud swelling technique? (started using it from the ultimate grow) or just better genetics? it's always hard to put your finger on the reason why it's better but i think the light's are the biggest reason for great yields and the nutrient has got smaller impact on it. but that's my opinion and i'm still learning a lot it's just my 5th grow so i'm still a beginner . happy growing

Excellent light :-)) ... I was close to buy viparspectra about a year ago. I think its generally rated as some of the best light in its price range ? But what a jungle when it comes to LED light. They all claim that they have the best light in the world. To begin with I didnt do my research and jumped in with both legs and bought, what I thought, was the best light in the world. King Plus 1200 watt from China (which is actually only 210 watt). To top my stupidity I then bought one more because I thought more light was = better and bigger buds. I could have bought 1000 of them. They would never reach the lower parts of the plants. I then did a lot of research and found out that Spectrum King (610 watt) was the light for me. Absolutely lovely bright light .. and it is totally quiet like a normal table lamp. Not a sound. Not a buzz. Just excellent quality light that last for many years. Right now I do four different strains and you can see in my diary how things are going :-) Nice weekend to you mate 😏💪

HappyGrowercommented7 years ago
@Bluesbreeder, Thanx mate :-) You will continue being happy with QB DIY. I have a friend who bought them too and harvest for him has been a pleasure ever since :-) ..
Bluesbreeder
Bluesbreedercommented7 years ago
@HappyGrower,well it really is a jungle out there! Everybody claims they got the best lights so you need to find out from growers themself. I had to move my growroom so HID was no option for me anymore because of heat problems in the new space . So first i bought the viparspectra 600 and grown 1 auto ultimate with it and it sure did a good job for a light that costs 179€ . But i stiil was doing some research and figured out that these lights only did good on the surface but did not have good penetration. So i was searching for affortable lights with minimum of heat with good penetration and not to expensive ! So i bought the QB DIY set for 400€ and i must say i’m very happy with it :-) if i see the development of the lower buds on my plants it is amazing . Not to say that these are the best lights but if you just spend a little more on lights then buying cheap chinese lights like viparspectra ,...or other brands you will get amazing results and really above my Expectations. I’m sure your lights are also great and there are lot’s of lights that are really great but the lesson we learned is light’s are the most important thing to have a great harvest with tight snowy buds! Btw. Your plants look great !

You shouldn't have planted 2 seeds in one container
Bluesbreeder
Bluesbreedercommented7 years ago
@bobo420,yes off course but what's the problem if they are in 1 container ? it's not that they don't have room being so small so in a few days i take 1 away and leave the other to grow. don't see any problem with it.
bobo420
bobo420commented7 years ago
@Bluesbreeder, wouldn't you have a 'spare' if you planted it in the separate container too?
Bluesbreeder
Bluesbreedercommented7 years ago
@bobo420,there is only 1 i will continuo to grow. was just backup if any of the plants did not do good and good that i did because 1 of them is not going to make it so i still have a spare.

@Bluesbreeder,Thanks buddy! Great help!
Bluesbreeder
Bluesbreedercommented7 years ago
@CAMOGROWN,hey well i bought them from this company https://horticulturelightinggroup.com they have DIY package but also assembled light's to buy. the lights are very popular so they have problems with the demand and are sold out very frequently .
HappyGrower
HappyGrowercommentedweek 57 years ago
How is everything with the girls ? :-) I hope its ok I tell you that plants growing too close together in a closed container will eventually start to take nutrients from each other. Even with enough nutrients to go around, there still needs to be soil and space for the roots to grow. Even plants in the ground need to be spaced out so they can grow. The plants will either both be stunted from stress or one will die off and the other will grow. I would get rid of the one to the left if I were you :-)
HappyGrower
HappyGrowercommented7 years ago
@Bluesbreeder, Hope you will succeed with it. So far they look good :-)
Bluesbreeder
Bluesbreedercommented7 years ago
@HappyGrower,everything is going good but they both are so small that i think they can grow together in the container. i have done it before and it worked out good last time . it's like they both are midgets and it was from the beginning when they popped out both of them grew very slow. well i'm going to try to keep them both and see if i can make it work.

these looks lush, im growimg the same strain under 600w hid with canna nutes and whilst healthy am getting plants a lot smaller, i was thinking of switching to qb lights from hlg too on my next grow and changing nute line. Did you have two under 135w the whole time? and what size of tent? thanks loads for any info
Bluesbreeder
Bluesbreedercommented7 years ago
@mononostril,hey, well i have a tent 80x80x180 and in the tent are 2 x 135W under 1 lamp are the 2 C'Banana and under the other lamp are 2 Royal Gorilla . well they are only under this light for bloom. for veg i am using another room with a viparspectra 600W led light on Veg switch . well i used Cana Nutes before and was happy about them. but i changed to Advance nutrience and i bought the whole line. so i have 20 bottles at home and it's also good. but i'm planning on switching to canna again . personaly i don't think the nutirent makes that much a difference. the light is the main factor for having a great harvest and also good yield. a plant needs nutrience but i don't think it matters that much! but it's my opinion. i think it's the training LST and Topping and the lights that makes a good harvest or a great harvest and also genetics. i always had decents yields but i must say that my best yield was with the QB lights so i'm guessing they are the reason. but you can check it out what de diference is. my first diary here was With 400w hid my second was the aotu ultimate grown under a viparspectra 600W and my 3th grow was my best yield and was with the QB's . so take a look at my other diaries and you can see difference . i hope you can do something with the information.
