Seeds germinated and started off pretty good with no issues on their own. I believe I've given them to much light so on day 5 I dimmed the LED light.

This second week has showed me a couple of things. I have to disregard "Bro Science" and do what I feel is right. On day 11 I fed with .5 of Maxigro Phed to 6.3.

Been a busy week, topped the ladies once they reached 5th node. They were transplanted into 5 gallon cloth pots. I added another ViparSpectra xs1500 light and I started them on .75 of Maxigro for the nutes. Thanks for checking out my first grow and feel free to help me out if you notice something I'm doing out of whack! Peace gardeners!

Started LST on day 22. Started training to mainline today on the 25th day. I'm going to try multiple training techniques together in hopes of a better yield. I will also Scrog before I flip to flower. So at day 28 I've decided to veg them longer. I'm thinking of going another month to maximize my yield and although new growth is awesome good right now I'm going to go back to Maxigro on the nutes to throttle these ladies to their fullest potential.

I've decided to veg for maybe another month. Growth is great under these ViparSpectra xs1500 lights. I've been defoliating the large fan leaves slowly to open up light penatration to lower bud sights. Modified mainline LTS. After some very thoughtful suggestions from a more experienced grower, I've removed the netting and will wait to use a Scrog until I'm ready to flower. Thank you to all my experienced growers.

Is there a such thing as growing too good? 32 days and these ladies are growing 2 to 3 inches a day and already sticky and smelling. I plan to veg three more weeks.

This is not quick I'm afraid my friend I have plants that are the same age and they are huge compared to this lady though that's nothing really to brag about it just proves that you are using the nutes correctly and also have all your balances dialed in. As the other grower has stated you should take a look around grow diaries there are people out there with very short diary times im talking like 9 weeks from start to finish now thats quick though these grows I fear do lack the yield most are after. best thing about photo period phenotypes are that you are in complete control as to how high she gets how many tops she has and how much space she takes up. 3 more weeks veg I would say would be about right for a full blown plant that is going to produce a some what respectable yield I can only go from my own experience and none of what I am saying is law it is just advice and should be treated as such :) though she is looking really healthy I would advise only using the netting after you flip them with them already having the soil as a medium they dont need the extra support at the moment I would revert to tieing her down instead then add the net in the first or 2nd week of flower after the stretch then you can really space the tops out and get that even flat canopy your going for with plenty of large buds. If you are concerned about her height and size you can always do some HST like topping or fimming and some selective defoliation these techniques can maximize symmetrical growth createing a nice flat canopy with even light distribution. anyway great look plant and wishing you the best of luck for the remaining time left on the cycle :) Keep it green

Starting to see pistils and definitely stretching. Everything seems to be going smooth. I'm defoliating slowly, just a couple fan leaves a day. I have a mini dehumidifier coming tomorrow to handle my humidity issues. I recommend anyone using Maxibloom as a nute to buy a magnetic stirrer to fully dissolve it.

Hey! I defoili my plants bevor Switch to 12/12 and end of week 3 flower. They recover very fast and the light can hit also lower parts of the plant ending in bigger yield. For verifing this method you can look at my diaries. It still works and is not Internet theory. I also lollipop the sh*T out of my plants to reduce this buttom popcorn crap :) Hope this helps😋🖖

Adding SLF 100 and Calmag to feeding. Although everything seems good, I'm going from tap to RO to have maximum control over my PPMs or TDS. Buds are really developing nice and she is still stretching. I appreciate any suggestions. ( Running CalMag, Photosynthesis Plus, and SLF 100)

Starting to see increased bud growth and frosting. I'm really blown away by these lights. I didn't expect two 150 leds to produce such rapid and quality flowering. Moved to RO and CalMag along with SLF 100 and it is really showing. I hope to disprove the conventional wisdom of grams per watt and focused more on lumens and light spectrum being the deciding factor. We will see!

Anyone have any feedback on running high ppm in flower with RO water? Does SLF-100 help flush unresolved nutes? My first grow but I think I'm blowing it, please look and tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Always start with a lower rpm of bloom nutes and work your way to max ec for dirt or for water grows. High rpm when starting your bloom nutes leads to overfeeding and a reduced harvest. Cheers.

So I'm getting closer to the finish line and I'm blown away at how well these ViparSpectra xs1500s are flowering this girl. This grow proves you can flower with 300 watts and get nice yield with these quality lights. Follower me to see the final yield and quality.

Starting the last two weeks before harvest I've started my flush, just water Phed to 6.2 at 2 gallons every other day. No problems, no bud rot or powdery mildew and tricolmes look good. Bought a USB microscope to get better look at trikes and also to document it better for you guys. My fingers are crossed on what the final yield will be but I'd be very happy with 8 ozs of dry flower. I don't know , we'll see. Already have everything ready for the harvest and cure and I will try to document that process. Stay tuned.

So last watering was today and then I'm going with 4 days of darkness before harvest. It's been first run although I would be happier with more tricolmes. Any suggestions are welcome for next time. Check back for the harvest and cure. Posted the last pics of my first run before chop. I ain't getting much love from my fellow growers...where is the props at?!!

Hi! Looking awesome for a first grow, nothing you can do for trichomes, it depend on her genes, keep on popping seeds you will find your pheno! I have smoked some buds with little trichomes on them and they were super strong.... I would love to know more about Thc concentration per trichomes, and how cannabinoids/terpene entourage effects affects the high.... Becareful 4 days without light could produce molds... I think 48h night is sufficient even if really past 24h useless, nothing happens in such short time but molds. Just no water and perhaps reducing hours can help the transition, but remember trichomes do not grow in the dark, plants need energy to swell... Only if the canopy is receiving too intense light can damage Thc. Light helps with fuelling all processes to produce big stigmas... Goid luck fellow Gardener!

@Ghostknife78, the only really important thing is not to water too much and not to live our girls under too intense light. All the best for this week!

Ghostknife78commented4 years ago
@Eauderay, Well we all start somewhere and I have a general idea on how I want to finish her. You can probably remember your first run and what you wanted to and all the stuff involved. I've put so many of my limited brain capacity into this grow so my ultimate goal is not to look stupid. I'm going to do it my way and see what I get...you are free to break my rocks if I'm wrong! Much love from prohibition land.

@Ghostknife78, indeed, or you could decrease light to 6h for 2 days and none the rest.... All the best for this week!
