First Grow ever. Auto flower White Widows from ILGM. I bought 5 seeds and I'm just gonna start with one plant.
I'm starting with a 24x24x48 grow tent, 600W LED grow light, and 4inch ventilation set-up w/ carbon filter.
Germination was super easy. Placed the seed in a plastic container with water and it popped in the first 48 hrs. Used Miracle Grow potting soil in a 2 gallon pot. Placed the seed in the pot with cellophane over it until it started to take hold.
(After week 2 all pics will be without the grow light on. Just started doing this on week 2)
At the start of the week, we struggled with the temperatures reaching 90 degrees and lower humidity at 38%. I added a small box fan blowing out to lower the temp and by mid week we dropped it down into the high 70s. I was worried the most about the humidity being so low but with the humidifier added, it helped get it up.
Feel like I have had some really good growth this week. I think I messed up on the amount of soil I put in the pot though. I only filled it halfway and at some point I'm going to have to re-pot.
Added a little under a tablespoon of Dr. Earth 2-2-2 mix this morning. 2-6-21
Everything is going really well. Haven't changed anything. Added another tablespoon of Dr. Earth 2-2-2 fertilizer this week. Will be moving the plant to a Vivosun 5 gal bag this weekend.
Had a really good week of growth. Moved it to a 5 gal bag last week and don't think it affected the plant. I added some more Dr. Earth last week and now I think I had a little nitrogen burn (could be wrong) but the tips on some of the bottom leaves are turning brown. Not too worried but will be keeping an eye on it
This is my first grow ever. I bought white widow auto seeds from ILGM. On the website it said the plant would get up to 24 inches. Between week 6 and 7 I saw incredible growth. It's now currently 35 inches and has grown into the light. Did I do something wrong to make it grow?
No it just a guid line depending on the light you need to keep Serrano distance. So Through all grows you need to be able to move your light up and down away from your canopy. But no you didn’t do anything wrong.
So check it out my friend. Plants r like people we all come out a little different from each other even though we have the same parents. If ur in veg u can keep ir light close to the plants sounds like uve just hut flower so u want to keep at least 12 inches of spacw between the light and the highest bud
No, you didn't do anything wrong, if anything you exceeded their growth expectations, the problem is the plant growing into the light this is going to cause some serious burn if you don't handle it.
