Started germination in rapid rooter. Soaked rooter, squeezes out most water after. Drop the seed in, covered with a little pinch or rooter to block light. Put in grow tent at 75F and ~60% humidity in Pyrex cup. Only a bit of water in the cup. Covered with a bowl, left thermo and hygro under bowl to monitor. 2/11 - Day 4 after going into rooter. Two nice sprouts! I plan to keep them here for a bit, then move to 1G container with soil to establish roots. 2/12 - They look sad today! Serrated leaves curling down and I think I'm watering too much. I'm going to add a bit more light, add Rh up to about 55% with a humidifier, and dumped water out of the bottom of the dish to try to dry the rooter out. Maybe I should consider transplanting?

Transplanted both Rapid Rooters into soil over the weekend, as roots were starting to shoot out of rooters. For the Kush, had a >1 inch taproot coming out of bottom that I was worried about drying out. Transplanted on Saturday into some regular soil - dry, because I think she was overwatered in the rooter. Moved the Zkittlez on Sunday as roots were starting to shoot out of the side. Zkittlez went into soil I watered on Saturday and warmed in the tent overnight. Watered a little and have them on an 18/6 light schedule right now. I've got my Sonofarm 2000 (200W LED) about 2 feet above plants, running close to full blast right now. 2/19 (day 11) - growing nicely, new leaves starting to emerge. Look a bit yellow but I'll just keep an eye on them. Current conditions are 18/6, about 75F w/ 50% Rh in tent. Small fun blowing cross breeze. I've been running light at 100% about 2 feet above plants with a heater in tent to maintain temp, planning to move to light only during day and use heater at night to keep warm. Still watering very sparingly (probably 15-30 mLs per plant per day with an eyedropper).

Really starting to take off this week! After asking some questions, I learned about VPD and changed tent conditions. On day 14 or so, I moved to a 24/0 light schedule from 18/6 and started watering ~100mL daily at midnight. New seedling growth was looking very yellow, but the change helped a great deal. Still in soil only, no nutes, using only Ph water at around 6.0-6.5.

Really starting to take off in weeks 2-3! After asking some questions, I learned about VPD and changed tent conditions. Now running 24/0 at ~78F and 60% Rh and the girls seem to be responding nicely. On day 14 or so, I moved to a 24/0 light schedule from 18/6 and started watering ~100mL daily at midnight. New seedling growth was looking very yellow, but the change helped a great deal. Still in soil only, no nutes, using only Ph water at around 6.0-6.5. At Day 20, looking big and starting to get as big in diameter as my temporary pots - I probably need to transplant soon into final containers.

Transplanted the girls around Day 24, moved them into soil I'd pre-watered the day before and put in grow tent to come to temperature. Roots looked healthy when I transplanted, but were starting to get bound and didn't pop out very easily. A couple days after transplant, they looked happy again. I installed a blumat system since I have some time away from home coming up, and trying to get it dialed in. On day 28, I did some light LST to try to get more bud sites exposed to light. Zkittlez looked a little droopy next morning, but I noticed blumat came on so maybe she was dry? Will keep an eye on her. Thinking about starting light nutes as soon as I get blumat dialed in. I think they're getting a good boost from new soil, but I want to ramp up at end of veg as it moves into flower. Day 32 - hit Zkittlez with Cyco Grow A + Grow B. 2 mL of each in ~500mL of water added by hand. Hit Critical Kush with Cyco Bloom. 2mL of each in 500mL of water added by hand. In both cases, used pH 6.0 water but screwed up and did not test pH after added nutes. On Day 34, looking good. Blumat system working well, and appears to be keeping plants at right moisture.

Had to leave town last week from Tues - Sat. Came back and Critical Kush looked beautiful and happy, starting to flower. Zkittlez had grown much more veg and was stretching up towards light. Seemed to be getting close (15" or so from top of plant to light) and looked kind of droopy. Raised light thinking I might be burning, but after a few days she doesn't look any better. I've been on a 2x light nutes schedule (Cyco Grow A + B for Zkittlez, 2 ml of each; Cyco Bloom A + B for Critical Kush). Watering using blumats seems to work great.
