Using 2 kukuppo led lights, advertised as 1500w, actual pull from wall is 300w each. good price imo @ $75 ea. grow tent was cheapest 3x3 i could find ($60), looks good so far i cant see a reason to pay out for brandname.
Gonna be growing in the garage, here in colorado its still pretty cold out. these lights dont put out enough heat, will be using a cheap little heat fan from walmart. although its set at 1000w setting (expensive), it has thermostat and seems to only click on for 5-10 min every hour to keep a temp of ~70F. temperature was concerning to me but im feeling better after seeing these results. without heater and with exhaust fan going i was seeing ~55F temps with 24hr lights
Successfully germinated 3 seeds using the following method (mostly followed GCS guidelines): Soaked seeds in glass of distilled water for ~13hrs. They did not sink until 10hr mark with a bit of prodding. Took two sheets of paper towel ran under faucet, then wringed them out so only damp, transferred seeds to the towel spacing them out and folding enough to place into a small ziplock sandwich bag. I didnt close the bag all the way. Placed the bag onto a thick ceramic dinner plate, and covered with an upside down bowl, and placed the whole thing on my PS4 (stays on always). Stayed nice and warm and all seeds sprouted within 24 hr after soak so Im happy!

Still going great! Only one of the plants will likely produce, but i got room so im lettin the two runts grow. Nodes are really close together, great week for growth. Probably will try some lst this upcoming week after another inch or two growth.
Started small amount of nutrients. Tried some lst, honestly after main stem bent and grew over i untied and im probably just gonna let it do its thing. Looks like once it stretches there will be at least 4 main grow sites at same height and i dont wanna mess around too kuch first grow. On day 28 i changed schedule from 24hr to 20/4. Some of the leaves were turning over which concerned me into changing it. A friend let me know it was just the plant sleeping which it will do even in 24hr light but i think 20/4 will still be beneficial. Only had it at 24hr to warm the temps as its been cold here in colorado.
Still going good! Some notes: the seedling that was stuck in its shellmet has officially surpassed the second plant in health! It has an ungodly thick stem though so a lot of energy was misplaced. The other smaller plant has shown glossy leaves which can be either nitrogen tox or just a mutation, either way it doesnt look as healthy as the other small plant. The main plant looks great and has been responding well to lst. In one of the pics you can see main stem completly facing sideways, it was back to pointing up within 2 days and more nodes in light as reward. Will continue to lst as they are responding well and no visible stress. Plants have shown sex in white pistles will be flowering by end of week im sure.
Also set up a radio so theyve been listening to music!
I did something wrong around day 38. Leaves were droopy af and one of the plants was barely hangin on. Overwater or over nutrients? Either way ive been babying them and its slowly getting healthy again... Probably lost a ton of growth but oh well. Flowering and lookin better..
