Day 7: Peeled off rockwool cube as they seemed to saturate with solution from the bucket and roots would not penetrate. Roots exposed for better air supply. Expect roots to grow throughout the next 7 days and reach the solution. Covering seedling with glass when lights are off for moisture retention around leaves.
Day 9: Adjusted ventilation as temp was up to 85f; solution at 27C. Air down to 80f; solution 24C.
Week 3: No pics for that week. PE and GG were taking their time developing roots so I took them out and replanted them deeper in the hydroton (closer to the water). Roots popped through in 2 days which was great. Plants recovered quickly. PE had a minor deficiency; upped calmag to 2ml/l and all is good now.
Week 4: Good progress. Healthy roots. All variables well under control. Removed some bigger leafes. Testing LST on PE. Introduced UVB (310nm) for 90minutes a day (45cm above canopy). Plants drink approx. 600ml solution per day. PPM constant at around 950.
Week5: Defoliated and LST. Upped PH of PEs solution to 5.9-6.0 because of a minor deficiency. Otherwise everything is fine. Waiting for first flowers to appear slowly. They started smelling noticably. Incoming decrease in humidity to around 50% and temp. down to 75f.
