Temps at 78-84 f, humidity inside dome around 68-76 depending on temps. Direct planting into coco jiffy plugs, charged with a light seaweed extract. Took 2 days exactly for seed to pop out of plugs. Another day to remove its shell, will start counting as day 1 from here on out. Check out the other strains on my other diaries. 1 gelat.og auto and a green crack auto, both from seedsman.
This one rooted on the surface and is sending its tap root out the side of the plug, so ill about subtract a day or 2 in terms of development. It was transplanted into the hempy on day 3.
Roots were almost to the bottom of the plug by day 3.
Day temps 82-88f humidity 60-75 %
Night temps 73-78f humidity usually around 70
They will be slightly slow until they build their root mass. Watered in 300 ppm on day 4. I'm seeing a trend with praying leaves when I let the temps build to 88f with the led. Upped ppfd from 180-250 over the week. Reduced light cycle from 24hrs on to 18 hours and maintained about the same DLI.
DLI : 18
Overall a great week.
Will be upping light and ppm this week onwards. Going to hit a 22-25 DLI by the end of week 2 or what do you guys think? Take it easy?
Chasing vpd this week, growth has been explosive. She's happy but she stalled on the third node for a day, and has mutated leaves.
Temps : 86-88f humidity : 65-75%
Night temps : 78 humidity 60%
She was foliar sprayed with a weak solution of a bloom fertilizer containing micronutrients and phosphorus with tricantanol. I used probably 1/4th the dose at around 75 ppm on day 12.
Light : this week we hit over 25 DLI, on day 13 we hit 31. The other days we were hitting 22-25. She doesn't seem bothered and her body language is healthy, growth is fast and development too. I know hempys and she may just snap out of it and develop well. Let's $ee
I wasn't here on day 15 & 16 so no pictures, they dried back on day 16. Roots were visible on the edges of the pot by day 18 actually, and growth is damn fast.
Day 17 they got 450 ppm, day 19 i bumped it up to 550 and then finally after realizing that for my environment I may need to push nutrients cause they're having trouble keeping up metabolism with light levels, day 21(today) I gave them around 700 ppm, she got only 200 ml of this tho, I didn't change her reservoir completely as she stays green easily.
DLI has been a steady 30-32 but on day 17 I did turn it up to 36. Now 36 DLI is what an established plant would recieve in a greenhouse so I get why they yellowed a bit.
I foliar sprayed them with tricantanol and seaweed (105 ppm totally) on day 18. You can see the effects on the side branching. It is booming in here. Potassium silica foliar on day 20 at 65ppm was given as well.
LST started on day 20 and has been very successful as most all branches are taking! Will keep readjusting every node to get as many branches as possible and then thin out the weak if we have a full house.
Very good week.
I'm imagining this place should be packed full of tops within 2 weeks.
She is slightly mutated but clearly snapping out of it. Needs lesser nutrition than the others to stay healthy. But I have a very special feeling about this one..
Thank you and stay tuned.
Some environmental hiccups this week, mainly swings. Temps between 78-90f and humidity 50-78%. Clearly not the best environment but she keeps on pushing. She showed pistils on day 25. The others showed by day 19 so I'm guessing she will veg out for atleast another week, preflower stretch will bring the size and stack. I'm sure of it. She really didn't go deficient at all, regardless I think the magnesium foliar sprays helped. led Causes more nutrient uptake. Especially when pushing photosynthesis, the elements are required to make chlorophyll.
This one has my eye. Special. Stashed away in a corner. Just waiting for her to express herself.
Day 19 : 550 ppm
Day 20 : silica foliar 65 ppm
Day 21 : 700 ppm
Day 22 : tricantanol foliar spray with phosphorus 152 ppm
Day 23 : seaweed extract foliar 47 ppm
Day 25 : foliar with 100 ppm magnesium sulphate
Day 26 : foliar with 190 ppm magnesium sulphate
Day 27 : 750 ppm
Overall a good week for her, time to take off now.
Stay tuned :)
She went into preflower hard, next weeks onwards- will be flowering weeks. Day 35 she's looking good. Ppms up to 1090. No deficiency issues on this girl compared to the gelat.og girls she's actually doing quite better. Her roots are all over! White and healthy. She prays everyday with no signs of slowing down. Great plant. I'm excited to see how the flowers fill in. Learnt a lot this week about magnesium and blue spectrums (which my lights have) and mulders chart along with law of minimums. Check this stuff out it is the truth! Anyways thanks for stopping by if you did.
Temps 84-86f
Humidity 65-75%
Ppms 1090 feeding daily with no issues. She can probably take 300- 400 ppms more at max in the peak of flower for atleast 3-4 days.
DLI is steady at 32-34. Adjusting dimmer daily to make sure it doesn't jump up significantly.
She stretched so damn much almost hit her head in the lights so supercropped the daylights out of her tops on day 42. Temps were 90f with 80% humidity, from day 42 temps were 83f with 60% humidity. Carbon filter was attached on day 42. Dli was all over the place for her as parts of her tops were hitting over 950 ppfd so she was most effected by the light stress but its not a biggie she'll be fine. 36-47 DLI.
This week was quite stable. 84f 65% humidity. Night temps 80f 60% humidity. DLI started out at 44 then we reduced 2 hours of light so around 39 for the week. So 14 hours from day 43. Ppm went down to 800 from 1090.
This girl is the stretchy asf. Biggest plant I've ever grown lol. She is developing well, not skipping a beat. Still I think easily 3 weeks to go if not more. She's started to smell on day 42. I think she'll surprise me later on
She's fattening up quickly. I'll be taking her 2 more weeks. Looking good. Conditions same as last week. For the last week I will drop humidity to as low as I can get it. She smells amazing. Strong skunky citrusy stink.
She really really packed on the weight this last week. Looks like she's a 9 week finisher for sure. bending under she own weight. Most definitely stinky, a very limey lemony but not citrusy. She is done we're just taking her as long as we take the others. She looks so good and her buds have filled all the way out!! Can't wait to taste
Chopped her down day 66. She's hanging rn, will update you guys with the weight soon! Looking forward to trials! She smells nice and lemony and holy shit I got a ball of hash off the scissors. The size of a button but still amazing for such a small plant.
Super citrusy, high yeild compared to the other strains. Was mostly responsible for filling out the space. I'd give it a 7 out of 10 in terms of smoke cause it was nothing special but definitely potent stuff. Just not for me tho
