We planted a second Jack Herer Auto from Quebec Cannabis Seeds in a 1 gallon pot as an experiment to see how it does compared to our jack herer auto in the 3 gallon pot. We wanted to see which plant would give us the best yield for the space available. This will help us decide how we want to do our next few rounds of grows and if we want a SOG or just have a few big plants in the tent.
We planted this seed directly in the medium and in 2 days it has sprouted up fully. We are growing this in a 1 gallon pot alongside our other jack herer auto which is being grown in a 3 gallon pot.
This girl has taken off! Very nice growth we are seeing from her, despite being in the 1 gallon pot. its interesting to see the differences in growth between her and her sister, being grown in a 3 gallon beside her. These will both be fun plants to grow and see what we can do with them
Feb 26 - She's looking pretty decent, but we have noticed that at this time for the other jack herer (3 gallon) it was much larger. We do have this planted in a smaller one gallon pot but the growth overall just seems to be much slower than the other auto. Same tent, same conditions, oh well. It's an interesting experiment to see for sure, but we definitely know at this point which plant is going to do better for us overall. Although she still could surprise us. stay tuned
This girl has grown very slowly compared to her sister in the 3 gallon pot. She is a very very tiny plant but that's sort of what we expected. We have noticed that the leaves are starting to claw and we believe that might be from overwatering at such a young age. We left her for a few days to dry out and she seems happier. We also have started to apply a top dressing, now that she has been vegging for 3 weeks
Little Jack is coming back from the overwater. We gave her some top dressing to help out and we'll see what happens. It looks like she is preflowering already so we know that were not going to get much opportunity for LST from this point out. It's going to be a very small plant but a fun grow nonetheless.
