First Ever Grow ( Alaskan Purple)

welshboykev Starting to look good so far added nutrients as to the charts thats supplied by dutch pro also added some calmag as a friend said it might help because they thought the leaves looked a bit yellow

welshboykev So week 3 and I can see problems already I have dun everything that I have read to the letter and couldn't work out what was wrong UNTIL I found this site Growdiaries and I was saved 🙃 so the amazing part of this site is you can click on the nutrients and see other growers using the same as I am and how they are mixing so my problem's where I am using nutrients from day 1 and the exact measurements on the dutch pro chart worked out to be double the amount everyone on here was using so mixed up a new batch with exactly half the amounts panicking so much I've killed it but fingers crossed this self taught grow works out

welshboykev So after changing the water over the already damaged leaves just kept dieing off but the new smaller leaves starting to look a lot more healthy so I decided kill or cure and chop off all the big damaged leaves and have a try of training watched all the videos and thought I got this 👍😅 anyway can't believe after I finished with it , it looks like it's In a straight jacket poor thing let's hope I haven't killed it

welshboykev Ok so after putting my plant into a straight jacket and hacking half of it away and the total change of water it hasn't died bit its not really growing either where I pulled the branches down in training the only difference is the leaves have turned back up but the leaves are not turning brown suggestion for GrowDiaries website there should be a grow technique button "PRAYING" 😂🙏

welshboykev So after 8 days it did absolutely nothing then all of a sudden yesterday when I went to check POW it has bushed out tremendously overnight I must of stunted it's growth or a combination of double strength nutrients, training and defoliat but wow can't believe how she's perked up and the amount of leaves also the water leaves as slowly going down so she's drinking again 👍 Ok so we all upto date now 18/02/2021 hopefully with the amazing help I've found reading this website I've solved most of my problems only thing now Is what do I do with this short bushy thing next, there so many leaves and density do I trim more or just leave it get bushier more training hmmmmm I see a lot more videos and reading coming along 😀 if anyone can see anything I'm doing wrong please let me know , thankyou guys can't wait to give the next update I'm 46 years old and like a big kid even bought a wifi camera today to watch and talk to her 😂🙈🙊🙉

welshboykev It's been a great week she has grown so much I have done it's last LST and a lot of defoliating of the much larger leaves that are covering so much new growth and shoots this is going to be my last veg week I think she's ready to go into flower, what do you guys think is it ready to flip ? Any and all comments and help would be much appreciated thanks guys 🙏

welshboykev I decided not to put into flower this week instead I did a lot of defoliating and more LST which I'm glad about as you can see she looks like there's a lot more possible bud sites tonight I have done a bit more defoliation and set my lights to 12 hours on 12 hours off fingers crossed for me guys as I'm winging it a bit for my first grow so any help or suggestions is always gratefully appreciated 🙏

welshboykev Not much happening this week started off with a little defoliating flipped the lights to 12 hours on 12 hours off and just keep topping up with water looking nice and bushy now 😀 🙏

welshboykev Starting to show signs of flowers had do give her a really good defoliating just keeps getting so bushy but it's Starting to look as if I know what I'm doing as well 😂 getting exited now to see what the buds will look like anyway until next week thanks guys 🙏

welshboykev Another great week goto keep defoliating every few days still more LST trying to open her out a little more it's drinking loads and buds are starting to show some signs of trichomes 😊decided to up the nutrients to 1.5 m per L and put explode in this week hopefully she likes it 😀

welshboykev Everything looking good this week she's just drinking loads and looks and smells amazing I'm going to start flushing now just by guessing I think I got just over a week left before harvest really looking forward to the final week 😀 🙏

welshboykev Some very sticky buds trichomes are absolutely everywhere some slight signs of Amber so been feeding over a week with just ph water and today was the big day it has been one hell of a journey and learned experience and loved ever minute not sure exactly on weight or how it smokes buds are not huge but very compact and smells great there are quite a few things I did wrong as this was my first grow but the plant took everything I threw at it and I can take this to my next grow for bigger and better things to come
